We're on fire! The next update for the Experimental Branch is ready, further improving and fine-tuning what is turning into a massive milestone update (1.4.0). Your feedback has made all the difference, thank you so much!

We are not quite ready yet to push this to the public, we are doing another round of testing on the Experimental Branch, making sure our latest changes and improvements are ready for prime time in the very near future. As always, feedback is needed and much appreciated!

• Added: all changes in v1.3.15 have been imported in the Experimental Branch.
  
• Added: different rates models (Betaflight, RaceFlight, Actual, Quick, KISS). These are all available in the flight controller settings menu.
  
• Added: show/hide propellers in view is available in the game options menu.
  
• Added: enable and customise propwash effect in the game options menu.
  
• Added: battery sagging when battery simulation is enabled.
  
• Added: disarm drone option in the button setup window.
  
• Added: new model for ground effect simulation.
  
• Updated: while in first-person view, certain parts that would clip with the camera are now hidden.
  
• Updated: PID tuning has been made easier when A.I. tune is off.
  
• Fixed: multiplayer not starting for race and dropout race.

To celebrate the release of our new game Midnight Protocol we've added 2 Midnight Protocol themed frame skins to Liftoff. Midnight Protocol is a tactical narrative-driven RPG with unique keyboard-only controls. It's available now on Steam for PC, Mac and Linux. As an answer to the new trend in FPV racing and freestyle, Liftoff: Slipstream adds vehicles for you to chase in a multitude of Liftoff environments: a time trial on Short Circuit, a drag race in Bando City, mining trucks going about their business in The Pit. All of this and more in this DLC pack.

Liftoff: Slipstream will be available as an optional DLC pack for Liftoff: FPV Drone Racing on Steam, in early 2022.
