Genome Guardian 2 Early Access OUT NOW

WHAT TO EXPECT
[p]the current state of Genome Guardian 2 as of this Early Access launch[/p][p][/p]
100h+ of Polished, Playtested Content
[p]There's so much to sink your teeth into already. 14 Guardians, 12 Hulls, 11 Platforms, 12 Barrels, 11 Brackets, 11 Cores, 12 Motherboards, 81 Mods, 12 Gadgets, 3 Modes, 55 BURGERS, 55 FRIES, 55 TACOS, 55 PIES, 55 COKES, 100 TATER TOTS, 100 PIZZAS, 100 TENDERS, 100 MEATBALLS, 100 COFFEES, 55 WINGS, 55 SHAKES, 55 PANCAKES, 55 PASTAS[/p][p]Oh and 100 Steam achievements.[/p][p] [/p][p][/p]
An Excellent Steam Deck Experience
[p]The only reason it's not officially "verified" is because some text is small, but even most of those cases are enlargened on Steam Deck. I've really tried my best to optimize the Genome Guardian 2 Steam Deck experience, as well as controller support.[/p][p] [/p][p][/p]
A Massive Bass-pounding Soundtrack
[p]132 music tracks that you can listen to at your leisure in-game via the Jukebox: Just select the music note in the bottom right.[/p][p]You can also use the tick boxes to ban songs you don't like - there's 132 of em', can't guarantee you like them all![/p][p] [/p][p][/p]
Save & Load 24 Builds
[p]After a couple victories you'll be introduced to the LOADOUT button - it lets you save your current build so you can recall it at any time![/p][p]You can also personalize those loadouts with paint & pattern customization 🎨[/p][p] [/p][p][/p]
Enzymes
[p]They're very hard to come by, and for good reason: Enzymes let you unlock anything of your choosing in the Checklist (except Modes/Awards).[/p][p]Desperately want something you don't think you can meet the unlock conditions for? Enzyme it![/p][p]Or maybe you just can't be bothered to meet it because it seems annoying? Enzyme it![/p][p]P.S. you can even Enzyme parts locked behind unreleased Modes...[/p][p] [/p][p][/p]

[p][/p]
WHAT'S TO COME
[p]in no particular order...[/p][p][/p]
New Guardians, Parts, Mods
[p]There's lots of room for new Guardians (think of them like "character choices"), as well as a handful of parts that won't be ready until later. Oh, and 16 more Mods.[/p][p]The plan is for all of these to be 100% by the time Genome Guardian 2 leaves Early Access.[/p][p][/p]
3 New Modes
[p]Expect one (named "DRAFT") to be like an expanded-upon "Classic" mode that just makes the experience all-round better and more unique.[/p][p]Another will be named "MINER", but you'll just have to guess what I have in store for that one.[/p][p]Then there's one more... Could be anything, really. Probably not a "Gameshow" equivalent - that mode kinda lives on in the form of Studies.[/p][p][/p]
"The Jester Update"
[p]Except it'll actually be real this time - in other words, Jester isn't in the game yet but will return as a Guardian...[/p][p]And the reason why it's not ready yet is because I'm taking it to a whole other level compared to what you experienced in the first game, that's all I'll say.[/p][p][/p]
Daily Dive
[p]A fan-favourite feature of the first game will return better than ever: A unique challenge that changes every 24h. Like before, it'll let you use parts / mods / gadgets you haven't unlocked yet and get their purple victory star (since Daily Dives are always DEPTH 5).[/p][p]It'll be both much more interesting and significantly less likely for "impossible" dives to occur (if they can at all... depends on how I do it). [/p][p][/p]
The Abyss Story
[p]The game's story component isn't in yet (it almost was but I ran out of time), but it's designed so that it makes sense & feels natural whether you start it after your first victory or 100h+ into the game.[/p][p]For anyone wondering: Yes, on-screen purple text will be significantly more readable and significantly less obtrusive than it was in the first game (rarely will it appear mid-wave).[/p][p]You'll also find various physical paper documents called "Files" detailing the game's world, the 4 world superpowers (ACGT), and who created the nanobot 👀 [/p][p][/p]
Community Items (like Trading Cards)
[p]They'll go live the moment Steam lets me![/p][p][/p]
And A Lot Of Other Stuff
[p]All this is just stuff I've planned, and I have plans I haven't even mentioned here - Genome Guardian 2 is my magnum opus, and I will make sure it is the best it can be. [/p][p][/p]
Uracil...?
[p]Look... People have been bugging me for some implementation of "Uracil" for years - I've got some ideas for it, but, no promises (and no, it's not going to be anything even remotely resembling "replacing T DNA").[/p][p][/p]

[p][/p]
DON'T FORGET CELL COMMAND!
[p][/p]
Genome Guardian 2 & Cell Command is one big, connected story.
[p]Cell Command features the same ACGT mechanics in a different form, and as of writing this has a 98% Positive Score. You won't know what really happens to The Abyss until you play it.[/p][p]Get it 20% OFF via the Genome Guardian 2 + Cell Command bundle:[/p][p]GET CELL COMMAND[/p][p][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink][/p]

[p][/p]
🐞 BUGS & FEEDBACK 💡
[p]Send it my way in the Discord (use the #gg2-bug-reports or #gg2-suggestions channels or at least ping me so I don't miss it!)[/p][p][/p]
🌎 TRANSLATION MISTAKES?
[p]Send em' my way in the Discord as well - there is A LOT more text in this game than you might expect so some things just slip through the cracks! I'll promptly correct anything you point out to me.[/p]
