Survival Log Improvement Plan – Vol. 2
[p]Hello, Survivors! This is Midnight Workshop.[/p][p]Over the past few days, we’ve received a massive amount of feedback and suggestions. We have documented every single one and will be rolling out optimizations and fixes in upcoming versions. [/p][p][/p][p]Today (Feb 15), we expect to roll out two rounds of updates, mainly focused on underlying system fixes and gameplay experience improvements, making outdoor exploration and daily survival feel more reasonable and smoother overall.[/p][p][/p][p]Here are the details of today’s updates: 👇[/p][p][/p]
🛠️ 2/15 Update #1 (Live Now — Please restart Steam to update)
[p]Focus: Fixing core systems & improving exploration experience[/p][p][/p]
Experience Optimizations & Bug Fixes
[p]Exploration Rest Adjustment
Fixed an issue where resting on single beds or sofas during exploration consumed Energy faster than it recovered. (Now hiding outside to rest will actually restore Energy properly.)[/p][p]Achievement Fix
Fixed a bug where the “Survive 20 Days” achievement could fail to unlock under certain conditions.[/p]
Underlying Logic Stability
Adjusted the protagonist’s Wish System. In the apocalypse, practicality matters more — the character will no longer frequently request rare or hard-to-obtain foods.[/p][p]Reduced Morale Penalties
Greatly lowered the negative effects when Wishes are unmet. Failed Wishes now only deduct 5 Morale, so you won’t spiral into collapse just because you couldn’t find specific food.[/p][p][/p]
New Content & Mechanics
[p]Enhanced Dismantling
Crowbars now have a new use! You can smash objects such as teapots, grinders, soup pots, and other scene props to forcibly obtain raw materials.[/p][p]More Storage Space
A new storage container (grey telephone cabinet) has been added to the shelter, giving hoarders more room to stockpile supplies.[/p][p][/p]
Issue Fixes
[p]Achievement Fixes
Fixed issues where the “Rescue Beacon” and “Use Drone to Observe” achievements could not be completed in some cases.[/p][p]UI & Information Fixes[/p]
