The Metronomicon: Slay The Dance Floor News

A sneak peak into the fuuuuutuuuuure...

For the last few months, we've been working on a major game expansion we call "Slay The Dance Floor"!
It brings so many features, a bunch of which we aren't even announcing yet.

• Full local multiplayer, across All play modes
  
• A new unlockable, playable character
  
• Reworked and new challenges
  
• New ability types
  
• A brand new (really meaty, still secret) play mode
  

And yes. As with the UGC expansion, this giant-sized patch will be 100% free.

We'll be marching out to Boston, home of PAX East, with the first playable multiplayer build in just two weeks.

By player demand, The Metronomicon is now additionally available in Russian and Brazilian Portuguese!
For you native speakers, that's... Pу́сский and Português-Brasil!
So, you know... if you speak those things (and, erm, also understand me right now...), we have a thing for you!!

Otherwise... play some music and learn you something new!


It's just about convention season again, and we'll be heading all over the place!

First, in the second week of March, we'll be heading out to Boston, MA for PAX East!!
Despite the flight and hotel needs, this show has become a second home for us, and I couldn't be more stoked to go. Last year, I had a BABY born while showing this game pre-release at PAX. So, you know... something there will have to beat that!

Then, the very next week, we'll be headed to Austin, TX for SXSW!!!
SXSW Gaming was kind enough to nominate our little musical monstrocity for The Gamer's Voice Award!

It's a voting sort of thang. So, if you're nearby, we want you there. And screaming. Or singing. Loudly.



Before those shows, in the weeks that come, you'll see some announcements of some Super cool new Metronomicon news. All of features, stuff, things, and thangs are in the works, and these conventions will be your first chance to get your hands on Some of it!

Tis the for jumping and fighting...


Just in time for the holidays... A FREE DLC pack for everyone!

Featuring "Deck The Dubstep" by Andross, this song is festive, jolly, a little bit trippy, and... an experiment in my doing something bizarre. ːheartsongː

Playable in the Story DLC dungeon as well as in Freeplay Mode, "Deck The Dubstep" puts a weird little holiday twist on normal song choreography. Something a bit... hm. Well, go play it!

Time for our first single-artist challenge pack!

After many matchups, some nail-biting competition, and some incredibly inventive party building by our players, a winner has been crowned!
Athrend Fyre is the winner of our first Metronomicon Tournament ("WEINER 2!").

Athrend won a custom Metronomicon Dance Pad of his own, as well as a special item named after him in-game. One perfectly suited to the strategies in use in the tournament!!
And you can get that item in this DLC!
