Hope y'all are well!![/p][p][/p][p]This month we started cooking a internal demo of the game and me and the team have been hard at work!! 14 of the 18 levels received a bit of polish, I wouldn't say they're in a advanced state, but they're MUCH polished than they were at the beggining of the month, specially visually. But also, 6 of the first levels of BRAZILIAN DRUG DEALER BEFORE 4: DEMONS FROM THE PORTAL TO HELL I OPENED ARE STILL IN THE FAVELA AND NOW I HAVE TO SAVE MAMADAS FROM RONALDO.[/p][p]I'll talk now a bit about the changes that happened![/p][p][/p][p]One big thing : Sonic ass arrows/Need For Speed ass arrows.[/p][p]The new game is a LOT faster because of double jump and specially dash, and one thing we noticed during playtests is that people wanted a more clear way to get directions, so Rick, our programmer, had this great idea of doing "flow maps" around the levels, now, we have arrows helping you visually on walls for you to know better where to go! Also it's a evolution of the ENTER HERE gag, we made it a bit yellow on purpose lmao[/p][p][/p][p]Also, we polished some of the new guns in the game, they now shoot a lot faster because of that, testers felt that faster guns helped keep a 'flow state' in the new gameplay system. Also, the shotguns and automatic guns carry more ammo cuz of that! for example, they can carry 335 rounds, and shotguns can carry 200 rounds![/p][p][/p][p]Mike Klubnika, the creator of Buckshot Roueltte played the internal demo and really liked it! Such a huge honor![/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Also, on cool news: I'm gonna be at Pax East showing the game off! It's a new standalone sequel/expansion to BDD3 in a style similar to Half Life:Opposing Force/Medal of Honor Underground, but also it's a sequel!! This time around Da Silva was throwing a party in heaven after saving Mit Aia and the favela, but Ronaldo McDalest kidnapped the Mamadas and their super powered teleportation car globeceta, trying to continue the hellish invasion by trying to create a new portal with their car teleportation technology!! Oh no!! Now it's up for Da Silva to save the Mamadas and Brasil again!![/p][p][/p][p]This time around, we changed things up considerably, there's a lot of new guns in the game, ranging from a chimarrao flamethrower to a feijoada beans gun that work similar to the needler gun from Halo, and also every gun will have a hand model, a idle animation and more, kinda trying to bring a quake 1 to quake 2 vibe to it! Also, there'll be a lot of new enemies, ranging from a robber with a bike, a tv show mouse, capoeira players, giant tv show robots from brazil and even more![/p][p][/p][p]Also, this time DA SILVA CAN DOUBLE JUMP AND DASH, CUZ HE PUT FIREWORKS UP HIS ASS!! This new mechanic is really useful for platforming, and specially really useful for the crowds some of ya fellas really like in some of the levels[/p][p][/p][p](there's a level with around 400 enemies, so it'll be very useful lmao)[/p][p][/p][p]We plan for the game to have around 18 levels in the campaign, ranging from Rio de Janeiro to São Paulo and also salvador! And also more levels in deathmatch and horde mode (yes horde is coming back!!)[/p][p][/p][p]Also, the game will have steam workshop support, achievements, and also steamworks multiplayer, and you'll be able to play with up to 255 players together!!
