[p]Hello fellow fishing game fans![/p][p][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink]Over the past few days, we've been working like dogs, intensifying our testing and balancing efforts. We're pushing out two to three builds daily for testing.[/p][p]Regarding gameplay, we identified a disconnect between the pace of unlocking skills via level and the overall game rhythm. After internal discussions, we decided to decouple skills from level. Skills will now unlock simultaneously when their corresponding fish species is unlocked. Level will instead be tied to the Cat Captains' abilities—the higher the level, the stronger the Cat Captains become.[/p][p]
[/p][p]The visual effects of the Talent Tree have been further optimized for a more polished look. We've also rearranged its layout to be more compact overall.[/p][p]
[/p][p]Various optimizations have been made to the fishing combat, alongside several bug fixes. Key issues resolved include: fish swimming backwards, fish spawning too small, and fish failing to complete turning animations. Furthermore, we've adjusted the Lightning Power's effect. It now instantly chains and deals damage to all targets, instead of the previous slow, sequential chaining. This significantly improves both the visual feedback and the feeling of satisfaction. Our artist has also created visual effects for 5 different types of Drift Bottle, and we've enhanced the visual prominence of both Treasure Chests and Drift Bottle during fishing combat.[/p][p]
