Rules Update: Card Draw System Reworked
šŸ”„ Rules Update – Card Draw System Reworked
[p]The card draw rules have been updated in Carnival Roulette to improve pacing, clarity, and early-game tension.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p]
šŸŽ“ New Round Structure
[p]🩸 Round 1 – No Cards[/p]
  • [p]During the first round, players do not have access to cards.[/p]
  • [p]No cards are drawn and no cards can be used.[/p]
  • [p]This round is all about raw risk and positioning.[/p]
[p]šŸŽÆ Round 2 – Cards Enter the Table[/p]
  • [p]At the start of the Dealer’s turn, players draw 2 cards.[/p]
  • [p]Maximum hand size is 3 cards.[/p]
[p]šŸ”„ Round 3 and Beyond – Escalation[/p]
  • [p]At the start of the Dealer’s turn, players draw 3 cards.[/p]
  • [p]Maximum hand size increases to 5 cards.[/p]
🧠 Dealer Turn Rule (Reminder)
• [p]Cards are now drawn at the start of each Dealer’s turn, not per player turn.[/p]
  • [p]Once all Dealer cards are played, a new Dealer turn begins and players draw again based on the current round.[/p]
šŸŽŖ Why this change?
• [p]Stronger early tension with no safety net[/p]
  • [p]Clear escalation between rounds[/p]
  • [p]More strategic planning per Dealer phase[/p]
  • [p]Less waiting, more meaningful decisions[/p]

Step Right Up! The Carnival Roulette Demo is Live – Here’s What Awaits You!

[p] [/p][p]The Gates are Open! Welcome to the Carnival. I am excited to finally let you experience the Opening Act of Carnival Roulette. I’ve designed this demo to give you a true taste of the tension, strategy, and risk that defines the core experience I'm building.[/p][p]In this demo, you will face 3 Brutal Rounds of increasing intensity. The rules aren't static—I’ve made them evolve as you progress, forcing you to adapt or fail. It all leads to the Final Round, where the Dealer introduces 3 Special Cards to the table, flipping the odds when you least expect it.[/p][p]My goal is for you to survive the rounds, master the loop, and get a first look at what truly happens behind the carnival curtains.[/p]
Mastering the Rounds
[p]The game is built on a simple premise that quickly spirals into a high-stakes psychological battle. Here is how the tension escalates through the demo:[/p]
Round 1: The Basics of Survival
[p]In the first round, it’s just you and the Dealer. He plays two main types of cards that remain the foundation of every match:[/p]
  • [p]Attack Cards: These load a Live Bullet into the chamber.[/p]
  • [p]Safe Cards: These load a Blank. Your survival depends on your intuition—which card will you pick, and who will you pull the trigger on?[/p]
[p][/p]
Round 2: Expanding Your Hand
[p]The Dealer keeps his deck, but now I’ve given you more tools to fight back. In this round, you can hold up to 3 cards in your hand, drawing a random one each turn to turn the tide:[/p]
  • [p]The Reveal: Peek at one of the Dealer’s hidden cards on the table. [/p][p][/p]
  • [p]Double Damage: High risk, high reward. Double the damage for the current round. [/p][p] [/p]
  • [p]The Block: Force your opponent to skip their next turn, giving you breathing room. [/p][p]
    [/p][p][/p]
  • [p]Regen: A small mercy—restore 1 Health Point to stay in the game. [/p][p]
    [/p]
[p][/p][p][/p]
Round 3: The Dealer’s Revenge
[p]This is where the true "Carnival" begins. Your hand capacity increases to 5 cards, but the Dealer isn't playing fair anymore. He introduces 3 Special Cards to his deck that he can use at any moment to crush your strategy:[/p]
  • [p]Health Swap: In a terrifying twist, the Dealer can swap his remaining health points with yours.[/p]
  • [p]Polarity Shift: A complete mind-bender—Safe cards become Attack cards, and vice versa. Everything you thought you knew changes. [/p]
  • [p]The Destroyer: He can instantly destroy all the cards currently in your hand, leaving you defenceless. [/p][p]
    [/p][p][/p]
