[h2]What is a Ranger?[/h2]
The Ranger class is a new Tier 1 class which exclusively uses bows. Rangers are cunning hunters, trackers, and guides who have found their calling outside the cities and villages of Lore. These agile adventurers wander the natural landscapes, bow in hand, learning the ways of the wild and living off the land. Each attack accumulates Focus that can be used to execute more powerful shots.


[h2]Ranger Skills[/h2]
This is a very versatile soloing class which can snare foes and rain arrows down upon them.

• Trapper's Instinct (Passive - 25% damage increase to immobilized creatures)
  
• Auto Shot (at 100 Focus, next shot will Critically hit and grant Swiftness)
  
• Empowered Shot (a single arrow that can pierce through multiple enemies in a line)
  
• Rain of Arrows (a volley of arrows that pierce through multiple enemies in the area of effect)
  
• Bloodthorn Trap (summon vines that Root and Poison all enemies that enter the area of effect)
  
• Arcane Archery (Ultimate - Arrows explode with arcane energy, granting extra focus per enemy caught in the explosion)
  
• Disengage (This is a Cross Skill which can be equipped with any class once unlocked - An evasion skill! Launch an arrow while leaping backwards to put some space between you and your foe)
  

[h2]Ranger Bows[/h2]
This week, you get your starter bow! It is the only bow available today in Robina's "Ranger Class Gear" shop. Next week... you will be able to craft new bows from around the world. Check what are artists made for you in this sneak peek Bow art post.


[h2]Bows -- a Ranger's best friend![/h2]
Which one will be your BBF? (Best Bow Forever)
The Ranger class only uses bows. (Just like the Pirate class only uses pew pews.) So, when you switch to Ranger, your bow will be equipped automatically. We wanted to make switching between classes as easy as possible. Especially now that we have multiple classes that use unique weapons.... and are planning for more in the future.


[h2]How to get Ranger Class?[/h2]
Robina is waiting to train you in Greenguard Forest! Start Ranger training with class quests and dailies, and turn in some of those class tokens to start building up your Ranger class gear!

How to travel to Greenguard Forest? Lots of options...

• Just walk out of town... she is standing on the road.
  
• Use the Adventure menu
  
• Use the Travel map
  
• Use the portal
  
• Be super ultra lazy, have a friend there and use their summon code to portal to them XD

[h2]Battleon's Social District is under siege by an army of undead![/h2]

Heroes! An army of the walking dead is attacking town! We have set up defenses on the bridge just outside the Social District. Join us... build catapults & defend barricades to protect our town from the undead assault!



[h2]BattleOn Defenders[/h2]

Talk to Defender Roland and Sarah Watterson (an NPC from the AQ3D Kickstarter). They just outside the social district of Battleon on the bridge. They will aid you in your defense with armor set crafting and defensive equipment.
New Defender Armor Sets & Title

• "Defender of Battleon" title (rank 30)
  
• Lotus Defender (full set craft at ranks 25-28)
  
• Lotus Siege (full set craft at ranks 25-28)
  
• Siege Defender (loot drop)
  

[h2]Siege War 101[/h2]

The invading force attacks in waves. The waves will get tougher.... build up your defenses wisely. Survive each wave of monsters, collecting defender medals to rebuild barricades and prepare defenses, and equip pieces of the Siege Defender armor set along the way to better defend against the assault. For every barricade left standing at the end of the war, a Siege Chest will spawn for the heroes.



[h2]Collect Defender Medals[/h2]

Attacking monsters drop Defender Medals & other items to craft defenses. Grab em! Use them to buy extra help & weapons.



[h2]Keep the undead out[/h2]

The undead cannot get past your barricades. Unless.... they destroy them. Which they can! So protect the barricades, they are your main defense. Building more of them is the best way to increase the war meter.



[h2]Craft Defenses![/h2]

Blacksmith Sara Watterson has volunteered to provide you with defenses in this war. This includes cannons, catapults, and walls of fire! Use your defenders medals to purchase them and they will appear transparent on the map. Just click on where you want it to go and it will become a solid item. You can spawn Guardian allies at the teleportation pad which appears by the gate.

Guardian Golem
Warrior Guardian
Mage Guardian
Rogue Guardian
Cannonball

Note: You'll find your completed craft items and hired help waiting in your tokens inventory.



[h2]Earn Defender Ranks[/h2]

Meet Roland in Battleon where he is recruiting heroes to defend our town from the undead. He also has Defender Rank quests and crafting for additional cosmetic armor sets. As you gain ranks as a siege defender you'll unlock new tiers of armor sets.

Max Defender Rank increased to 30!
Craft new Defender Armor sets
You can craft all of the previous sets too!



[h2]Get Rewards! Siege Chests[/h2]

After a wave, you will get a siege Chest for each barricade left standing!

Head to the social district of town and head out the gate....

Defend our home from the undead assault...

[h2]The "Just for KICKS" one[/h2]
[h3]New in version 1.51.0[/h3]

The newest version of AdventureQuest 3D (allows you to punt away-from-keyboard players from your dungeon and more features including...

[h2]New Character Creation[/h2]
Who forgot to update the customization screen that new players get in character creation! We did X_X. But not any more! Not it has all the fancy pants bells and whistles that the barbershop one uses. Also, we moved around some buttons for players on those shiny new big screen phones with super wierd sizes and the weird widow's peak camera location.

[h2]Dungeon Vote Kick[/h2]
So there you are, in a public dungeon, about to take on ultra mega, super Dai Tengu.... and sure enough, that SAME PLAYER goes AFK on you for the millionth time!!! No more. The new vote kick system will allow you to punt them to make room for someone who is ready to swing their sword or cast their spells at your side.

[h3]How To?[/h3]

• Click on their portrait... and click on Vote Kick!
  
• Or, you can target them and type /votekick into chat
  
• Or target a player and type /votekick
• Available in public dungeons
  
• You can activate vote kick after 3 minutes as long as there are at least 4 players
  
• Vote kick requires 75% (rounded up) of player votes
  
• There are some anti-griefing measures
  
• This is a really good feature for the community, but, no doubt, someone will find a way to abuse it. When it does happen, their punishment will be swift, brutal and probably funny.
  

[h2]New Ping System![/h2]
This feature was not near exciting enough to warrant that exclamation point. But we fixed that bonkers Lag Meter. Some times it seemed that meter has a mind of its own. Rest assured your ping times are 68% more... um, pingy! (Note: This is not the lag fix that we are working on. But it will give you a far more accurate picture of what your latency really is.)

[h2]Live Event Shop Updated[/h2]
Did you hang onto those coins from the live events!? The live event shop has been updated. Check out the shop on Serenity in Yulgar's In.....

Why are these live!?

I DID NOT FINISH ENTERING THE NAMES AND DESCRIPTIONS FOR THEM YET!
