The village of DragonWatch is under attack! Creatures from the Void... known as the Voidrakar... are obliterating everything in their path. This gives you, a hero returning from the land of the dead, an opportunity for payback against Vane, the Void King. I mean, that guy did throw you half way across the continent. Be careful though, this was no random attack... the Voidrakar are there for a reason!

The village of DragonWatch is guarding a secret... the fact that this town is literally named "DRAGON WATCH" might be a clue. The Guardians are holding off the monsters to give the villagers time to escape. But they need your help.

If you are just joining us now, and were not here for the world events when the Void King burned our town to the ground, this release is for you. It tells the missing story between the game's intro and when you finally arrive in our home town. This main storyline release will introduce the creatures of the void, and the one responsible for creating Vane's minions. Also, DragonWatch is an extended tutorial for new players. Which makes sense, because this is where new players will land after Vane throws them.



[h2]The Voidrakar Host[/h2]

Empire? Legion? Horde? No... the best way to define the horrifying creatures of the Voidrakar, is with the word "Host". These creatures do not kill you, they hollow you. It is the only fate worse than death. The negative space that you leave behind becomes filled with the will of the void. And they will not stop. Not until everything that you know, love, and treasure... becomes nothing.



[h2]Skarn, Alchemist of the Void[/h2]

Some would argue that alchemy requires equivalent exchange. Heh. Skarn says, "Hold my philsopher's stone". He is the Void King's alchemist and a true believer in his cause. He creates his monsters using the power of the void. You may be scratching your head, "Isn't the Void... nothing?" Yes, Skarn literally creates these monsters... from NOTHING.

[h2]Everything you need to know about classes[/h2]

AdventureQuest 3D allows you to collect classes and switch between them at any time. Are you raiding a dungeon and need heals? Switch to Paladin or Guardian. This gives you the power to change how you and your group play on the fly. And just playing as a class automatically earns experience for it.... which will rank it up! In fact, you will unlock skills, passive abilities, an ULTIMATE, and even a cross skill just by reaching rank 10! Now you can continue ranking up to 100 unlocking new rewards...



[h2]Become Legendary[/h2]

You can become legendary in your class by ranking it all the way up to 100! It happens passively as you battle, the longer you play a class. It is not meant to be done in a single burst of play. It is intended to reward you over a long period of time as you play your favorite class. Along the way, you will unlock pieces of the new legendary class armors and weapons, and unlock the "Legendary" badge for that class once you hit rank 100!



[h2]Legendary Armor Sets[/h2]

Our artists created a legendary version of EVERY class armor in the game. If you see someone with these items equipped... they are the real deal. You can see which items you unlocked in your class menu, and you can pick up the items on your class trainer.



[h2]100 Ranks![/h2]

These ranks are the solution to the common request of wanting some progression in between releases and level cap raises. There is no more wasting experience when you have reached the current level cap. If you are a long time player at the current level cap too, it feels really good to progression like this again.



[h2]Details[/h2]

• All Classes now rank up to 100
  
• You now get bonus rewards for playing your favorite class over a long period of time (this happens passively as you battle, no quests needed)
  
• Class tokens are awarded at each rank
  
• Legendary Armor Pieces unlock every 5 ranks (from ranks 15 to 50)
  
• Legendary Class Title unlocks at 100 (Super long time to get!)
  
• Legendary Badge unlocks at 100 (Did we mention this takes a super long time to get?)
  
• To keep it fair for casual players, all rewards after rank 10 are cosmetic or for status, not power.
  
• Each rank requires more Class experience than the last. (99 to 100 is BRUTAL)
  
• This is NOT a single sitting quest! Class rank rewards above 10 are designed to reward you as a dedicated player.

[h2]The Dreamer is now available as a real bow![/h2]

One of our awesome custom weapon tier Kickstarter backer, created a bow before long before we had real bows in the game XD A lot of people have been asking if it could be turned into a bow. Just so happened that last week, while hanging out in game I ran into the backer on Pointeless Isle. We talked about it and got permission to add a bow version. We are not changing the original version, because many people who possess that weapon wanted to keep it as is so they can equip it with any armor (not just Ranger.) Currently, the new version is available in the treasure chests.



[h2]Assault on Dragonwatch[/h2]

The Voidrakar have one goal... to wipe everything you know and love from ever existing. As they prepare their assault on our world, finding the correct words to describe them is challenging. They are not a legion, horde, nor an army. They are best described as a Host. The assault on Dragonwatch is currently in production. It is the missing chapter between your first encounter with Vane and the town of Battleon.



[h2]"Ask and you shall re... WHY!? OMG! WHY?"[/h2]

A Mythical Derpricon has been spotted in the social district. It appears randomly in between the Megalodons. This creature has a chance to drop some really.. uh.. stylish footwear. The pretty pink pony shoes were a constant recommendation to me on social media by a player eager to complete a full pony/brutralcorn set. When Winnie said in the artist chat on Monday, "I am open, need anything?" I immediately responded, "How do you feel about pony shoes?" When talking about game devs listening to their players... did anyone ever stop to ask, "should they?" XD



[h2]Thank you & Coming next![/h2]

Thanks for all of the bugs and issues you reported during testing of the new Class Rank system. We made all of the fixes and are currently testing newest version on the PTR. The new system allows all classes to continue ranking up all the way to 100... unlocking Legendary armors, items, and a title along the way. It is not meant to be a one sitting task. It is meant to passively reward you as you battle monsters with your favorite class. Our next release window is Tuesday. Keep your fingers crossed! Also, the new Fishing system is going up for testing this weekend on the PTR too! Combined with the Tower of Necromancy and the Pyramids of the Sandsea desert, we have some great stuff coming your way.

[h2]Necrotic Bow[/h2]
Talk to Stygis in Doomwood to craft this horrifying double stringed skull bow. Created by Thyton, the intention was for the arrow to shoot through the mouth of the skull. +100 bonus points for bow creativity.



[h2]Plunder Seeker[/h2]
You are able to craft this pirate bow in the port town of Lolosia. Talk to the Black Smith there. Using the pirate ship style ropes to hold the bow together, and a skull and cross bones hand guard comes from the creative mind of Dage the Evil.



[h2]Arcane Recurve Bow[/h2]
Head to the mystical forest of ArcanGrove and find the Arcangrove Sentinel. They will teach you how to craft this magical bow. The hand guard is a magical shell like spell and the string is pure energy. Also created by Dage.



[h2]Winter's Arc[/h2]
Travel to Frostval in the frozen north.... and find your way to the Frostvale Village. There you can craft this bow made of wood and enchanted ice. Created by Winnie!



[h2]Bloodsworn Bow[/h2]
Is it true that Vampire's suck at archery? I would not recommend finding out. The bat themed Bloodsworn bow can be found in Darkovia Castle. Look for the character that lets you do Monster Stalker Crafting. By Dage.


[h2]Lycan Nightstalker[/h2]
The bow of choice for werewolves can also be crafted in Darkovia Castle. This feral bow is tough... and by the looks of it, requires Lycan strength just to pull. (Art by Dage)


[h2]Ironwood Bow[/h2]
Not a Vampire nor Werewolf (yet?) ... than you should seek out the Ironwood Bow. You can craft it in Darkovia Forest. Now, you just need some silver arrows. (Art by Thyton.)


[h2]Shaman's Balanced Bow[/h2]
If you are a Ranger who is walking the path of peace and balance, head to the World Tree to find the Shaman Bow. You can create it using Soothsayer Crafts.


[h2]Living Branch Bow[/h2]
By far the nicest smelling of the bows in this release. Probably because this bow is living, covered with nature and flowers. Travel to Heartwood forest to craft the Living Branch Bow.

[h2]Guardian Bow[/h2]
Guardians should report to the Fortes in the Guardian Tower to create their bow. It forced from the same metal used to create the Guardian Blades. (Art by Dage)

Nah, you have the freedom and control to be anything you want in AdventureQuest 3D. Nearly every player in this picture is a ranger! You control how your character looks and plays. Collect classes, items, and cross-skills, switch between them at any time.

The Ranger Class release has been getting rave reviews and we are hard at work making it even better. The artists have a second wave of bows coming including the Ashfall bow, the Death's Lair bow, and more. We are also working on the new fishing & trade-skill system, guilds, the Tower of Necromancy, the Sand Sea Desert, raising the max rank of classes with new rewards and titles, and the main storyline featuring the creatures of the Void.
