Demo version 1.0.1 + Thank you for 1000 Demo downloads!

[p]Hi everyone,[/p][p][/p][p]while working on the rest of the game I monitored the activity on the Demo and I sincerely want to thank everyone who tried it and reached out, both privately and on the Steam discussion forums, to give feedback.[/p][p][/p][p]Based on this I'm happy to announce I've updated the Demo to version 1.0.1 with the following changes:[/p][p][/p][p]- fixed scanner and tablet clipping into other meshes[/p][p]- fixed post processing options not really affecting post process effects[/p][p]- added option to turn off Depth Of Field[/p][p]- character now spawns looking at the letter on the desk in front of him to avoid confusion with walking forward right after spawning[/p][p]- added signs that point to Stockroom to help with navigation[/p][p]- hiding spots sign positioned more clearly and fixed a few environment graphical glitches[/p][p]- tutorial colliders adjusted to make sure it triggers correctly[/p][p]Steam Next Fest is coming up shortly so I'm super excited for that.[/p][p][/p][p]As always keep observing,[/p][p][/p][p]- Middle Way[/p]

[p]Hi everyone,[/p][p][/p][p]After some much productive and needed internal playtesting for improvements and bugfixing, the demo for THE ANOMALY UNIT is finally out.[/p][p][/p][p]You've just woken up from a nap in your spaceship room, the main Terminal beeping. Introducing: THE ANOMALY UNIT

[p]Hi everyone,[/p][p][/p][p]After countless scrapped projects and periods in my life where I thought this would have never been possible, here we are with my first solo project ever.[/p][p][/p][p]I thought about "THE ANOMALY UNIT" in early November 2025: what I wanted to do was combine the adrenaline of facing hideous threats of games like Order 13 with the concept of "anomalies", popularized by games like The Exit 8. I thought the concept was neat and immediately started working hard on it for it to be ready for the upcoming Steam Next Fest, set to start on February 23rd 2026.[/p][p][/p][p]The Demo should be ready in approximately 2-3 weeks from now, as soon as I finish another round of closed playtesting with friends and colleagues.
