On the Horizon:
Later in winter a council decree system is planned to be implemented. This applies to games with the Galactic Council and will provide an opportunity to vote on sanctions and bonuses based on species ranking. As council decrees will lower galactic tension (the doomsday clock) it may make sense even in the lead to allow these sanctions to be in place. We'll also continue to provide updates in the form of new leaders and some new technologies.

Your continued feedback and support has been critical, and your save files and issue reports helpful for improving stability and performance.

Community Update- Measurement Tool and Quality of Life Improvements

Greetings Lords of Rigel! This week has some minor bug fixes and two requested quality of life adjustments.
Measurement Tool
First is a measurement tool for the galaxy menu. By pressing F9 by default, this toggles on or off a measurement tool to determine distances between stars in parsecs.

If you are having issues with the measurement tool, check the common issues thread and how to reset keybindings. Some players returning to LoR may have issues with older keybinding .inis and save files.
Planets Menu Improvements
Second is a requested pan to system in planets menu button, to go with the event ticker and empire menu pan options. If you're in system view this will load that location in the galaxy.
