Polish Armed Forces Day Bundles
In connection with the upcoming Polish Armed Forces Day, we’ve prepared three special bundles for you. These bundles contain Polish vehicles, a special camouflage (digital camouflage pattern that appeared on several Polish prototypes during the 2016 MSPO expo in Kielce), two decals (Polish Armed Forces chevron and Winged Hussar) and Gold.

Three bundle sizes are available:
 • Basic bundle with BWP-2000 Tier 7 Premium AFV, the abovementioned camouflage with decals and 1.000 Gold
 • Medium bundle with BWP-2000 Tier 7 Premium AFV, T-72M2 Wilk Tier 6 Premium MBT, the abovementioned camouflage with decals and 2.000 Gold
 • Large bundle with BWP-2000 Tier 7 Premium AFV, T-72M2 Wilk Tier 6 Premium MBT, with BWP-1M Puma Tier 4 Premium AFV the abovementioned camouflage with decals and 4.000 Gold

If you own any of these vehicles already, you will, of course, receive their price in Gold and the same goes for the Polish camouflage. The decals are free bonuses.
Object 490
The Object 490 Main Battle Tank was an advanced concept from the waning days of the Soviet Union. Designed in the 1980s, it represented a radical departure from the MBT paradigm. Its distinct wedge-like shape, along with the fact that the crew was located in the back, offered unparalleled levels of protection. But the most interesting part of the design was its double suspension paired with two engines, allowing the vehicle to stay mobile even after suffering significant damage. However, the conclusion of the Cold War put an end to this design, along with many other advanced Soviet projects. You can learn more about this vehicle in our dedicated article.

In Armored Warfare, the Object 490 Tier 10 Premium MBT is perhaps the best armored vehicle in the game. It’s a true behemoth that is almost impossible to slow down, let alone knock out, and concentrated effort is required to stop one of these things when encountering them on the battlefield. The combination of extremely thick armor and a powerful 152mm gun makes this tank incredibly deadly, even though these advantages are balanced by its mediocre agility and the fact that its gun is only forward facing. This MBT is ideal for you if you prefer slow, methodical advances while dealing massive amounts of damage with each shot. If you keep your flanks secure, you’ll be all but impossible to stop.

The Object 490 MBT is available in our Web Shop via Loot Crates. Collect 100 blueprint pieces from these crates to obtain the vehicle.
WWO Wilk
The WWO Wilk is the second Polish vehicle of Armored Warfare named after the ferocious pack animal. It is a fire support variant of the Rosomak, replacing the original IFV turret with the Cockerill CT-CV one, armed with a 105mm gun. A prototype of this vehicle was built and tested in 2012. After passing the tests, it was offered to the Polish Armed Forces but failed to catch its attention despite the excellent trial results. You can learn more about its history in our dedicated article!

In Armored Warfare, the WWO Wilk is a Tier 8 Tank Destroyer. A lower tier counterpart to the existing progression vehicle Wilk XC8, its mobility is comparable to other vehicles using the Rosomak platform, while its 105mm gun firepower allows it to compete with such vehicles as the American Stryker.
Enigma's Legacy Loot Crate
This Loot Crate contains Enigma’s Legacy Battle Coins and Boosters.

 • Battle Coins are the primary currency of the Enigma’s Legacy Battle Path campaign and are used to progress through it and to obtain its prizes.
 • Battle Coin Boosters are usable only during an active Battle Path and increase your Battle Coin income by 900 percent for two hours.

Please note that you have to obtain the access to a Battle Path to use both items.

We hope that you will enjoy the offer and, as always:

See you on the battlefield!

Celebrating Polish Armed Forces Day

Commanders!

On August 15, 2020, the entire Poland celebrates the Armed Forces Day, commemorating the 100th anniversary of the 1920 Battle of Warsaw, where the Polish military defeated the Red Army invading forces. During the Polish-Soviet War, the communists ultimately wanted to capture the entirety of Poland but were instead soundly defeated by the forces of Marshal Józef Piłsudski in what is commonly referred to as the Miracle of the Vistula. The celebration of this great victory and the Polish Armed Forces was renewed in 1992 and is accompanied by military parades since 2007.

To celebrate this grand anniversary, between August 13 and August 20, 2020, we'd like to offer you a 50% bonus to Crew XP income from all battles as well as a special gift, available on MY.GAMES Market, containing:
 • 3-day temporary version of the Polish WWO Wilk Tank Destroyer
 • Polish Flag decal
 • Józef Piłsudski decal
 • 3 Commander XP boost tokens

And to make the gift even more fun, we’ve prepared a contest for you! Use the WWO Wilk Tank Destroyer to deal as much damage at 300 meters or more as you can in one battle, take a screenshot of the result (available in your detailed result tab) and post it to our dedicated Discord contest channel along with your ingame name and the mode you played in.

There will be three categories:
 • PvP (Random Battles)
 • Global Operations
 • PvE (excl. Special Operations)

The best result in each category will receive 2.000 Gold and 5.000 Battle Coins. The submissions must be from the period between August 13 and August 17, 2020, so you have a weekend to compete.

We hope that you will enjoy this event and, as always:

See you on the battlefield!

Community Highlight: Two-Man Heroic

Commanders!

The PvE difficulty called Heroic, available only to Battalion players, is the ultimate PvE difficulty level of Armored Warfare. Normally, it requires a full, organized five-man platoon to complete one such mission, but there are extraordinary players for whom this just still seems too easy. This weekend, players dark_demigod and danlambo successfully passed the Meeting in Batumi mission by themselves. That's right, a mission intended for five organized players was done by just the two of them. In the video below, you can see how they did it:

We are happy to have such devoted and skilled players in Armored Warfare and are looking forward to more such feats. Don't hesitate to share yours on our official Discord and, as always:

See you on the battlefield!

In Development: Quality of Life Improvements

Commanders!

Update 0.33 won’t only contain big changes that will change the feel of the entire game, such as the previously announced Tier 7-10 rebalance. There will also be smaller (but equally important) quality of life features, some of which we want to tell you about today.

Battle-Hardened improvements – As you know, the Battle-Hardened status is a semi-premium state where, in exchange for Gold, your fully unlocked progression vehicle starts earning more Credits and XP. In Update 0.33, we’ll be giving it one more interesting function to increase its value. Battle-hardened vehicles will have preferential Matchmaking – that is, they will not encounter vehicles two Tiers higher in any of their battles. This will allow for more comfortable gameplay with this feature unlocked.

Camo and Skin Appearance – There is significant group of players, who prefer their vehicles “as they are” and do not feel the need to purchase camouflages or skins, but have purchased it anyway for the camouflage bonus. In Update 0.33, such players will have the option to disable their own camouflage for their client in the game’s Settings tab. To you, your tank will appear without a skin or camouflage. To the other players, it will appear as if it has a skin or camouflage unlocked. Please note, however, that old vehicles with fixed camouflage (commonly referred to as “reskins”) will not be affected by this setting.

Avatar and Title Improvements – Player avatars and titles will become more prominent, appearing for example in your Friend list or, more importantly, on loading screens. This will become noticeable especially in PvE where you’ll be able to show your vintage event avatar to everyone who’s getting in battle with you.

No more Fuel Fires – This is a minor mechanics change but still a useful one. In Update 0.33, vehicles will not suffer from fires caused by their fuel tanks. All fuel tank modules will effectively become indestructible. It will still be possible to set the engines on fire, but the fuel will be protected.

We’re also preparing some armor and ammunition tooltip improvements and other smaller changes which we hope you’ll enjoy, but that’s a story for another time. Right now, it’s back to the big stuff in our next Developer Diary article. So, until then:

See you on the battlefield!
