Type 99A2-140
The Type 99A2-140 is an experimental version of the most advanced Chinese Main Battle Tank in existence – the Type 99A. Unlike its production counterpart, however, it is not armed with a 125mm smoothbore, but massive 140mm smoothbore cannon. This is a theoretical upgrade to the vehicle – while the People’s Republic of China was considering upgrading the firepower of its Main Battle Tanks to face latest western and Russian MBT models, a 140mm gun was never installed on this chassis and was only mentioned in passing by certain Chinese sources. Now, however, your enemies will have the opportunity to experience what such a vehicle with you in command would be like to face in battle!

In Armored Warfare, the Type 99A2-140 is a rather unique Tier 10 Premium Main Battle Tank. It is essentially a version of the progression Type 99A2 Tier 10 MBT with one difference – the 140mm gun, trading its rate of fire for penetration and single shell damage. It is very fast and mobile (with its maximum speed being well over 90 km/h), protected by ERA and APS both and capable of using an acceleration-boosting active ability that pushes its engine far beyond the limits of common Main Battle Tanks. If used right, the vehicle is extremely deadly and one of the best Tier 10 MBTs on the battlefields of Armored Warfare.

The Type 99A2-140 MBT is available:
 • In our Web Shop via Loot Crates. Collect 100 blueprint pieces from these crates to obtain the vehicle
 • In a Total Destruction bundle on MY.GAMES Market

The Type 99A2-140 Total Destruction bundle contains the following items:
 • Type 99A2-140 Tier 10 Premium MBT
 • Commander Erin O’Connell
 • 30 days of Premium Time
 • 9.000 Gold
QN-506
The QN-506 fire support vehicle is a Chinese attempt to design a cheap, export-oriented alternative to the Russian BMPT series. Instead of converting a second or third generation MBT, the engineers at Wuhan Guide Infrared Co., Ltd., likely to keep the vehicle as affordable as possible, opted to base their project on the Type 59 MBT, which is, in its basic form anyway, a copy of the old Soviet T-55 medium tank from the late 1950s. They jam-packed it with cutting edge electronics and a number of weapon systems, including ATGMs, an automatic cannon or smaller caliber rockets. However, despite the use of an unmanned turret, the protection levels of this vehicle are still quite low and, so far, there haven’t been any signs of interest in the QN-506. You can learn more about this vehicle in our dedicated article.

In Armored Warfare, the QN-506 is a Premium Tier 9 Tank Destroyer that gameplay-wise resembles the popular BMPT series. However, unlike the Russian Terminators, it has a number of interesting features including tree different weapon systems (30mm cannon, 70mm unguided rockets and 151mm ATGMs) and loitering recon ammunition flying towards the end of a map and spotting everything in its path. The last ability is unique to the QN-506 and makes it one of the most potent support vehicles on the battlefield.
M-95 Degman
The M-95 Degman is an advanced Croatian prototype MBT, developed during the 1990s and 2000s. It is based on the previous Yugoslavian project, the Vihor MBT, which in turn has its roots in the improved T-72M series produced in former Yugoslavia. You can read more about its history in a dedicated article.

In Armored Warfare, the tank is relatively fast and fairly agile while carrying some potent firepower for its Tier. In fact, its owners can choose from two powerful guns:
 • 125mm 2A46 Russian-style smoothbore gun, known from many Russian MBTs
 • 120mm CTG NATO-style smoothbore gun that you know from the Challenger 1 Falcon MBT

It’s worth noting that the 120mm shells have higher penetration values and the gun can also fire Falarick ATGMs while the 125mm gun has higher damage per shot. Both guns will feature good handling as well as overall performance to offset the vehicle’s weakness, which is its mediocre armor. The Degman must rely on its mobility and firepower to survive, making it an ideal vehicle for aggressive, daring players.
Challenger 1 Falcon
The Falcon is an experimental turret developed in the early 2000s in Jordan as an upgrade to the Jordanian Al-Hussein (Challenger 1) Main Battle Tanks. It's a low profile turret, armed with an automatically loaded Swiss 120mm L/50 RUAG smoothbore gun, capable of firing standard NATO ammunition. The operator controls the turret from inside the vehicle's hull, significantly improving crew protection. A prototype was built and tested, but the design was never mass-produced.

In Armored Warfare, the Challenger 1 Falcon is a Tier 8 Premium Main Battle Tank. The best word to characterize this lumbering behemoth in the game is “tough” – its excellent hull armor shrugs off most shells while the damage its low profile turret takes when it is reduced by 90% thanks to the fact the crew is not located directly in it. Despite being generally very slow and sluggish, the Challenger 1 Falcon can take tremendous punishment and is ideal for the players who prefer the British Main Battle Tank play style.
Merkava Mk.2D
The Merkava IID (also known as Mk.2D) is an advanced version of the standard Mk.2 Merkava, upgraded with a modular “Dor-Dalet” composite armor kit. It’s a tough and unyielding vehicle, featuring a number of battle-proven components such as its 105mm rifled cannon. The first version of the Merkava Mk.2 entered service in 1983 and the last vehicles were phased out in 2016 after thirty long years.

In Armored Warfare, the Merkava IID is a Tier 7 Premium Main Battle Tank. It is not equipped with an explosive reactive armor kit, but is, nevertheless, a very tough customer due to the introduction of the applique armor, allowing it to take a lot of damage. Additionally, the tank is equipped with a Ready Rack mechanism, significantly increasing the rate of fire for the first four shots.
Mediterranean Camouflages
We’ve also prepared six historical camouflages for you that are based on real life Mediterranean countries’ patterns – two Greek ones, two Cypriot ones and two from Italy. You can read more about them in our dedicated article.

Please note that each of these camouflages can be installed on any vehicle that has the camouflage customization feature available (any vehicle with the exception of vehicles with permanent skins) and that each of these camouflages can be used in all three environments.

Greek Camouflage 2

Cypriot Camouflage 1

We hope that you will enjoy the offer and, as always:

See you on the battlefield!

Historical Camouflages - Asia

Commanders!

Today, we’d like to tell you more about the upcoming Asian historical camouflages that we’ll be introducing in the near future.

As you already know full well, the Spirithaven season is Asian-themed and while the Enigma’s Legacy Battle Path is technically not, it does feature some interesting Asian vehicles as well. In order to make your Asian machines look more realistic, we’ve prepared a set of three popular camouflages. How do we know they are popular? Because you’ve been requesting them for quite some now. They are being introduced based on your feedback and we hope you will enjoy them.

The first camouflage is a Japanese summer one, consisting of wide brown and dark green stripes. The Japanese have been using this pattern for quite some now and it can be seen on many vehicles, including the Type 74 MBT, Type 90 MBT and the Type 10 MBT.

As camouflages go, it is a very simple one. The edges are clearly defined and, for more realism, it can be used in conjunction with the upcoming two Japanese decals – one belonging to the Fuji JGSDF training facility (observed on the Type 90 MBTs) and one to the 5th Tank Battalion, 5th Brigade of the Northern Army (observed on the Type 10 MBTs).

The second camouflage, also widely requested, is a South Korean one, consisting a khaki base paint, wide brown stripes, narrow black stripes and narrow ochre stripes.

This camouflage is actively used by South Korea on multiple combat vehicles, especially tanks, and goes really well either with the T-80U MBT (some of them are operated by South Korea, although they were fairly recently officially retired) or with the recently introduced K2 Black Panther.

And, last but not least, we are introducing a variant of a famous Indian camouflage. There are many sub-types and variants of this particular pattern with its most distinctive feature being the use of rectangles of various sizes and of different colors.

This particular pattern is suitable for the open, desert environments of north-western India where battles with Pakistan took place. It features yellow base paint (matching the palette that can be observed in the Thar Desert) with brown and green rectangles. This camouflage is a typical silhouette breaker, making it more difficult to spot the vehicle at longer distances and, most importantly, in defensive positions, since any movement in the desert will give away your position almost instantly due to the amounts of dust being kicked up by tracks.

This type of camouflage has been used since the 1980s and appears today on various Indian BMPs and T-72S or T-90 MBTs (the indigenous Arjun tanks typically use different patterns).

These camouflages (available for all vehicles) will be available in the near future. We do hope you’ll enjoy them and, as always:

See you on the battlefield

Damage Contest: Type 74

Commanders!

Welcome to another Enigma’s Legacy contest, this time for the owners of the Type 74. The goal is incredibly simple.

We’ll be asking you to deal as much damage as you can while driving the Type 74 Premium MBT and post the screenshot of your result in the dedicated contest channel on Discord. You can compete in three categories, separated by mode:
 • PvP (Random Battles)
 • Global Operations
 • PvE (non-Spec Ops only, Hardcore difficulty)

However, please note that you can only win in one of the categories. The best result for each mode will be rewarded with the Iraqi T-55 Enigma Tier 3 Premium MBT and 5.000 Battle Coins.

Make sure that your submission includes the following information along with the screenshot: Your in-game nickname, mode and your result.

Please note:
 • The contest ends on June 18, 16:00 CEST
 • One player can only submit one result (so make sure you submit your best one)
 • Platoons are not allowed
 • If you own the T-55 Enigma already, you will receive its price in Gold instead
Good luck and see you on the battlefield!

Battle Path Contest: Killing Spree

Commanders!

The recently launched Enigma’s Legacy Battle Path features several Asian vehicles, it’s therefore only fitting that we have a contest built around this particular sort of machines.

The objective of this contest is as follows – between June 9 and June 14, 2020, play the Random Battles mode and try to obtain the highest amount of kills possible in one battle. Take a screenshot of your result screen and post it in our dedicated Discord Channel.

The players with the most kills will receive the access to the Enigma’s Legacy Battle Path!

What this means is that if the top player achieves 4 kills, all players who also achieve 4 kills and submit their results to the appropriate channel will receive the prize as well.

However, here comes the plot twist:
 • You must be driving an Asian vehicle
 • Only kills against other Asian vehicles count
