Community Survey: Battle Path Rewards

Commanders!

The Enigma’s Legacy Battle Path is right around the corner and we’ve watched you discuss its mechanics and rewards, propose suggestions and voice your opinions. In today’s community survey, we’d like to focus on one specific aspect of Battle Path campaigns – their rewards.

Some players join for the challenge, some players join for the loot and some players join for the fun of things – but everyone loves rewards. Enigma’s Legacy offers plenty:
 • New unique vehicles
 • New skins
 • Premium Time
 • Gold
 • Credits
 • Decals, avatars and flags
 • Camouflages

And much more. Now, we’re pretty sure you aren’t joining for the decals, as cool-looking as they are.

In this survey, we’ll be focusing on what you like the most and the least of the more substantial rewards. What is your primary reward motivation? What is your secondary one? Let us know in this survey:

Thank you for feedback and, as always:

See you on the battlefield!

Historical Camouflages - Kantemirovskaya Division

Commanders!

Today, we’d like to tell you more about an upcoming Russian historical camouflage belonging to the 4th Guards Kantemirovskaya order of Lenin Red Banner Tank Division or, in short, the Kantemirovskaya Division.

Much like the Tamanskaya Division, the Kantemirovskaya Divison is a Guards unit and an elite force in the Russian army with its roots reaching back all the way to the Second World War. In January 1943, the 17th Tank Corps was renamed to 4th Tank Corps, receiving the honor name “Kantemirovsky” after the town of Kantemirovka, which it liberated from Germans during one of the earliest battles it participated in.

The corps fought at Kursk and continued westwards into Ukraine with its separate regiments earning the honor names of “Shepetovsky”, “Zhitomirsky” and others after the cities they had fought in. The unit would then fight in Poland (including Krakow) and ended the war in Prague with one of the final offensives of the war. Shortly after the end of the war in Europe, the corps was renamed to the 4th Guards "Kantemirovskaya" Tank Division and was permanently stationed in Naro-Fominsk, a town to the south-west of Moscow.

During the Cold War, the division underwent a number of internal changes but served mostly as Moscow’s protector, which meant that it was spared the horrors of the war in Afghanistan and other deployments. It briefly became famous in 1991 by participating in the Soviet hard-liner attempt to overthrow Boris Yeltsin and, two years later, in the 1993 Russian Constitutional Crisis on Boris Yeltsin’s side (even though the tanks that had fired on the Moscow White House belonged to the Tamanskaya division).

After these dramatic events, the unit kept its integrity for the most part, participated in several peacekeeping operations (Kosovo, South Ossetia) and fought in both Chechen wars as well. In 2009, it was disbanded and turned into two armored brigades before reforming four years later, in 2013, as a part of the effort of Vladimir Putin to bring back old and famous Soviet units to life in order to maintain the sense of historical continuity. Interestingly enough, the Tamanskaya Division shared the same fate – it was disbanded only to be revived shortly afterwards.

At this moment, the Kantemirovskaya Division includes two tank regiments:
 • 12th Guards Shepetovsky Tank Regiment
 • 13th Guards Shepetovsky Tank Regiment

Unlike Tamanskaya’s T-90s, these regiments are armed with the T-80 series MBT. The exact composition and numbers are unknown – the main version seems to be the T-80U, although the division also operates some T-80BV models and is rumored to have acquired the newest T-80BVM model as well. The camouflage typical for these tanks includes light ochre, green and black stripes in various sizes.

The Kantemirovskaya camouflage (available for all vehicles) will be available in the near future along with other insignia, such as a Kantemirovskaya division decal, Guards decal and Shepetovsky regiment decal.

We do hope you’ll enjoy it and, as always:

See you on the battlefield

Offer: Altay, Abrams AGDS, Leclerc T40

Commanders!

This week, we’ve prepared another set of attractive items for you (along with 30% bonus to Commander XP income):
 • Altay Tier 10 Premium Main Battle Tank
 • Leclerc T40 Tier 9 Premium Tank Destroyer
 • Abrams AGDS Tier 9 Premium Tank Destroyer
 • MT-LB S8 Tier 6 Premium Armored Fighting Vehicle
 • Canadian Camouflages
 • Pile of Gold Loot Crate
Between May 28 and June 4, 2020, the following items will be available:
Altay
The Altay is the result of a Turkish program to build a true indigenous MBT. After a decade of development with hundreds of millions of dollars spent, Turkey finally achieved its goal and built a tank that is roughly on par in performance with decades-old Leopard 2 variants while it still uses many foreign components, including some of its most critical systems. Nevertheless, future Altay variants are expected to feature some cutting edge components.

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]

In Armored Warfare, the Altay is a Tier 10 Premium Main Battle Tank based on the current prototypes, but also upgraded by various hypothetical aftermarket components of the future to surpass its current capabilities and to match its assigned Tier in power. The basic tank is – gameplay-wise – a mobile sniper, much like the Leopard 2 series, relying on its mobility and the penetration of its shells rather than on its armor. There are two key features to this tank: Adjustable Suspension (tilting forward and to the side) and Hybrid Engine with its distinctive electric sound, giving the vehicle excellent mobility and agility.

The Altay MBT is available:
 • In our Web Shop via Loot Crates. Collect 100 blueprint pieces from these crates to obtain the vehicle
 • In a Total Destruction bundle on MY.GAMES Market

The Altay Total Destruction bundle contains the following items:
 • Altay Tier 10 Premium MBT
 • Commander Ophelia Kitescu
 • 30 days of Premium Time
 • 9.000 Gold
Abrams AGDS
The Abrams AGDS (Armored Ground Defense System) was a vehicle concept and proposal, drafted in July 1996 by Dr. Asher H. Sharoni (a former colonel in the Israeli Defense Forces) and Lawrence D. Bacon from a Californian company called Western Design Howden. It was supposed to be an air-defense vehicle, protecting the Abrams formations against flying threats, although its weaponry can be deployed against ground targets as well. The United States were, at the time, sorely lacking a vehicle comparable to the Russian Shilka and one of the ideas was to use the Abrams chassis paired with a new turret to produce an armored AA gun that would be able to keep up with the American tank units. This plan was never realized and the vehicle stayed only on paper but you can play the Abrams AGDS in Armored Warfare and experience what it would have been like, had it ever been deployed.

In Armored Warfare, the Abrams AGDS is a very unique Tier 9 Premium Tank Destroyer. What makes it so special are its two large guided missile launchers capable of firing an incredibly devastating volley within seconds. The AGDS can devastate practically every opponent on the battlefield with a single salvo, making it one of the best and most effective mid-to-long range vehicles in the game. At close ranges, it can rely on excellent frontal turret protection and its two 35mm autocannons to keep enemies at bay until the missile launcher reloads to unleash another deadly swarm of missiles. The Abrams AGDS is one of the most feared vehicles in Armored Warfare!
Leclerc T40
Sometimes called the French Terminator, this vehicle was designed on the Leclerc MBT chassis with one purpose in mind – to accompany tanks and fight off infantry attacks the same way as the Russian BMPT series does. You can read more about it in our dedicated article.

In Armored Warfare, the Leclerc T40 is a Tier 9 Premium Tank Destroyer. It offers you a combination of a durable hull, rapid-fire 40mm automatic cannon and, most importantly, the Javelin missile system. Simply right-click the target, wait until it becomes locket and fire the Javelin ATGM – it will home itself on the target, attacking its weak roof armor. Thanks to this ability, the Leclerc T40 is one of the most destructive vehicles in the game.
MT-LB S8
The MT-LB S8 (also called Strela-10 RSZO) was unveiled only recently as the means for Ukraine to combine two items they did not need by themselves in order to use them effectively during the Civil War. The first one, not quite useful to the Ukrainians by itself, is the Strela-10 self-propelled SAM – its deployment is quite limited due to the fact that the separatist forces do not have any air force. The second item is an aircraft or helicopter rocket pod that is used to fire 80mm S-8 unguided rockets. Together, they form an ad-hoc rocket launcher. You can read more about it in our dedicated article.

In Armored Warfare, the MT-LB S8 is a unique Tier 6 Armored Fighting Vehicle. What makes it stand out? Its armament, of course. This AFV does not have a lot of armor, nor is it incredibly fast, but it can fire its two full rocket pods (each has 20 rockets) within 30 seconds or less. The rockets have HEAT-MP projectiles and are absolutely deadly against practically any target, but especially against those without composite armor. On the downside, the rockets are unguided and quite inaccurate. This vehicle is not for the faint of heart!
Canadian Camouflages
We’ve prepared three historical Canadian camouflages for you that are based on real life patterns. You can read more about them in our dedicated article.

Please note that each of these camouflages can be installed on any vehicle that has the camouflage customization feature available (any vehicle with the exception of vehicles with permanent skins) and that each of these camouflages can be used in all three environments.

Important: Temporary PvP Limits

Commanders!

We are well aware of your Update 0.32 feedback where some of you have reported major game lags and other performance issues. We are currently investigating the problem and, as a part of it, will be introducing some temporary gameplay limits, effective immediately.

For the next 24 hours (until May 29, 16:00 CEST), all Global Operations and Random Battles team sizes will be reduced to 7 players (7v7 format). Please note that this may render some PvP missions and achievements (that require a team of 10 players or more) impossible to complete.

We apologize for the inconvenience and will inform you of our progress as soon as we know more.

See you on the battlefield!
