Legendary Vehicles – Mechanics Guide

[p]Commanders![/p][p]As you are no doubt aware either from the game itself, our portal article, or from the amount of more than a little competitive players on higher Tiers, we have introduced a brand-new feature to Armored Warfare – the Legendary vehicle Tier that surpasses regular Tier 10 vehicles in most aspects. In today’s article, we’d like to tell you more about the mechanics of the feature and where to find it in the game.[/p][previewyoutube][/previewyoutube][p]Starting with the Legendary Vehicles themselves, they can be found amongst dealers in the Vehicles window of the Garage. Click on the crown icon on the left side to open a special section belonging to Legendary Vehicles. Legendary Vehicles belong to no particular dealer and, in the future, will be possible to use in any missions that require dealer-specific vehicles (we will introduce this feature as soon as possible).[/p][p][/p][p]As was previously mentioned, each Legendary Vehicle requires 10000 Legendary Blueprints and a prerequisite vehicle, as such:[/p]
 • [p]Leopard 2A7DK: Leopard 2AX[/p]
 • [p]BMPT Mod.2025: T-15 Armata[/p]
 • [p]M10 Longstreet: XM1302[/p]
[p]When either of these requirements is not met, a lock appears over the icon of the Legendary Vehicle explaining the situation.[/p][p][/p][p]Legendary Blueprints can be obtained from Legendary Crates, which in turn are obtained from matches using the following rules:[/p]
 • [p]PvP (Random Battles): Top 3 winning players by ranking receive a Legendary Loot Crate and the Top player on the losing team receives a crate as well[/p]
 • [p]PvE (except for Special Operations): Top player receives a Legendary Loot Crate if the match ends with a victory[/p]
 • [p]PvE (Special Operations, including the older ones): Top two players receives a Legendary Loot Crate if the match ends with a victory[/p]
[p]There are the following exceptions rules:[/p]
 • [p]You have to be playing a Tier 8 vehicle or higher[/p]
 • [p]You cannot play Global Operations or Heroic Special Operations as these modes do not award Legendary Loot Crates[/p]
 • [p]PvP matches must have at least 20 players (10v10)[/p]
[p]Modes that award Legendary Loot Crates are marked with a crown icon. Please note that the icon will not appear if you have a vehicle of Tier lower than 8 selected.[/p][p][/p][p]Please also note that we are currently reviewing these rules and will update this guide if there are any changes.[/p][p]Each Legendary Loot Crate drops between 1 and 300 Legendary Blueprints, of which you need 10000 to assemble a vehicle. The Loot Crates can be found in the Inventory window and need to be opened to receive your Blueprints.[/p][p][/p][p]The amount of your Legendary Blueprints can be also tracked in your inventory, in the LEGENDARY section. The amount is displayed in the upper right corner and the icons of vehicles below serve to assemble the vehicles once the requirements are complete.[/p][p][/p][p]Press the wrench icon to assemble a vehicle, which is only possible if you have the prerequisite vehicle. Otherwise the attempt will end in failure.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]In battle, Legendary Vehicles can be recognized by a distinctive crown icon and the letter (L) in their description. Pay attention to your surroundings, commanders, because these vehicles are deadly.[/p][p][/p][p]We’ll discuss them in our second part of the guide. And until then, as always:[/p][p]See you on the battlefield![/p]

 • [p]Rough Riders Loot Crate (special end-of-Battle Path discount)[/p]
[p]Between December 11 and 18, 2025, the following items will be available:[/p][p][/p]
TOS-1M Buratino
[p][/p][p]The TOS-1M Buratino is a prototype version of the Russian TOS-1/TOS-1A heavy rocket launcher. It was designed in 1997 at Omsk as an improvement to the old TOS-1 whose roots go back all the way to the Afghan War. You can read more about it in our dedicated article.[/p][p][/p][p]In Armored Warfare, the TOS-1M Buratino is a Tier 10 Premium Tank Destroyer. As befits its massive rocket launcher installed on the top of a T-90A MBT chassis, its firepower is all but unparalleled and you are looking at perhaps the most destructive vehicle of Armored Warfare. It is available in two configurations – with fast-launching 122mm rockets and the iconic 220mm rockets that can be unlocked either by installing a skin (Koshmar), or by progressing through an active Battle Path.[/p][p]The TOS-1M is available in our Web Shop via Loot Crates. Collect 100 blueprint pieces from these crates to obtain the vehicle.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p]
Armata 152
[p][/p][p]The Armata 152 is a version of the T-14 Armata, armed with larger cannon. One of the upgrades considered for the T-14 Armata was the increase of its caliber to 152mm in order to absolutely, positively destroy anything with the first shot. The 2A83 smoothbore is a behemoth of a gun, designed in the last days of the Soviet empire for the next generation of super-tanks. It’s massive, heavy and quite costly to produce, but, most importantly, it was never truly needed to deal with the western MBTs since the standard 125mm guns were (and still are) up to the task. That is why it never found its way on any Soviet MBT with even the standard T-14 Armata being armed with an improved 125mm cannon. You can, however, experience its awesome firepower in Armored Warfare! Learn more about it in a dedicated article.[/p][p][/p][p]In Armored Warfare, the T-14 Armata 152 is a Tier 10 Premium Main Battle Tank. While not firing as fast as its 125mm counterpart, the 152mm rounds do enormous damage, often eliminating weaker opponents with a single shot. And then there’s the platform itself – the Armata, the most modern Main Battle Tank in the world. Earn it and use it to dominate![/p][p]The Armata 152 Tier 10 Premium MBT is available in our Web Shop via Loot Crates. Collect 100 blueprint pieces from these crates to obtain the vehicle.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p]
Kurganets-25
[p][/p][p]The Kurganets-25 Infantry Fighting Vehicle is intended as a cutting edge future replacement to the old BMP series in Russian service. While not as chunky and expensive as the T-15 Armata super-heavy IFV, it’s designed to finally offer the 21st century protection levels the Russian military has been demanding for a long time. However, the design turned out to be quite expensive and while it is currently undergoing state trials, it is unlikely to be ever mass-produced. You can learn more about it in our dedicated article.[/p][p][/p][p]In Armored Warfare, the Kurganets-25 is a Tier 9 Premium Tank Destroyer. Even though it offers decent protection and mobility for its class, this vehicle is all about firepower. To make sure you always have the right tool for the job, it comes with three distinctive weapon systems – a 57mm autocannon for light targets, fast and small Bulat missiles for highly mobile targets and, finally, full-sized ATGMs that can defeat pretty much anything on the battlefield. If dealing damage is your thing, few vehicles will match your playstyle better.[/p][p]This bundle is available in our Web Shop.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p]
Msta-S
[p][/p][p]The Msta-S SPG was developed as a replacement to the older 2S3 Akatsiya. The goal was to match (or surpass) the newly developed NATO artillery pieces with long 155mm guns. The production began in 1988 and is currently ongoing with a modernized variant rolling out for the Russian military. More than 500 Msta-S SPGs are still in Russian service and dozens were exported to several other countries. It has seen some combat during the Second Chechen War and the War in Donbass. You can learn more about it in our dedicated article.[/p][p][/p][p]In Armored Warfare, the Msta-S is a Tier 9 Self-Propelled Gun, which makes it only usable in the Global Operations mode and in PvE. It comes with two shell types – a slow-flying one with a high flight arc, and a fast-flying one for use against more mobile targets.[/p][p]This bundle is available in our Web Shop.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p]
Khrizantema-S
[p][/p][p]The Khrizantema-S is a dedicated tank hunter, built on a modified BMP-3 hull. The first Khrizantema-S prototype appeared in public as early as 1996 with the initial production variant (9P157) entering service in 2005. Around 2010, an upgraded variant called 9P157-2 appeared with a modernized Ukrainian optics system and a hull machinegun the original model lacked. This variant was in use until 2017. You can read more about it in our dedicated article.[/p][p][/p][p]In Armored Warfare, the Khizantema-S is a Tier 8 Premium Tank Destroyer. It is quite a stealthy vehicle armed with a twin ATGM launcher. The key to achieving excellent results with this machine is long-range ATGM sniping followed by rapid relocation. The missiles are quite powerful and make hits easy thanks to their excellent performance.[/p][p]This bundle is available in our Web Shop.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p]
Gadyuka
[p][/p][p]The Gadyuka (“Viper”) is a Soviet-era fire support vehicle consisting of a T-72A hull and turret but instead of the main gun, the vehicle is armed with two 30mm autocannons and two rocket pods in order to perform better against infantry in urban and mountainous environments. A single prototype was built in 1996 and even though the project was cancelled, it eventually led to the rise of the BMPT Terminator series. You can read more about it in our dedicated article.[/p][p][/p][p]In Armored Warfare, the Gadyuka is a Tier 6 Premium Tank Destroyer. Despite having only average protection, its two 30mm autocannons can, along with deadly rocket salvos, rip through enemy vehicles with ease. Indeed, the Gadyuka is one of the most destructive vehicles of its Tier and a worthy addition to every player’s arsenal.[/p][p]This bundle is available in our Web Shop.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p]
Rough Riders Loot Crate
[p][/p][previewyoutube][/previewyoutube][p]The Rough Riders Loot Crate is now available. This Loot Crate contains Rough Riders Battle Coins and Boosters.Battle Coins are the primary currency of the Rough Riders Battle Path campaign and are used to progress through it and to obtain its prizes.[/p]
 • [p]Battle Coin Boosters are usable only during an active Battle Path and increase your Battle Coin income by 900 percent for two hours.[/p]
[p]Please note that you have to obtain the access to a Battle Path to use both items.[/p][p]This bundle is available in our Web Shop.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]We hope that you will enjoy the offer and, as always:[/p][p]See you on the battlefield![/p]
