Offer: American Firepower

Commanders!

Today we’ve prepared the following items for you:
 • MPF Tier 10 Premium Light Tank
 • Abrams AGDS Tier 9 Premium Tank Destroyer
 • Griffin 120mm Tier 8 Premium Light Tank
 • Bradley AAWS-H Tier 8 Premium Tank Destroyer
Between October 14 and October 21, 2021, the following items will be available:
MPF Light Tank
The General Dynamics Light Tank prototype is one of the contenders in the U.S. Mobile Protected Firepower program to replace the Stryker platform in the fire support role for the U.S. Airborne forces. It is one of very few modern Light Tanks in existence. You can read more about it in our dedicated article.

In Armored Warfare, the MPF is a Tier 10 Premium Light Tank. Within its class, it’s one of the heaviest and the best protected specimen with its hull protected by NERA armor capable of absorbing damage in the initial stages of battle. With its powerful 120mm gun and decent mobility, it is a decent front-line fighter, holding its own even in the thickest of fighting.

The MPF Tier 10 Premium LT is available in our Web Shop via Loot Crates. Collect 100 blueprint pieces from these crates to obtain the vehicle.
Bradley AAWS-H
The Bradley AAWS-H Tank Destroyer was an attempt by Loral Vought to mount four kinetic guided missiles on an extendable arm while using the Bradley IFV chassis as a platform. Kinetic missiles were cutting edge tech back in the 1980s – unlike standard ATGMs, they destroyed the target by their kinetic energy instead of a HEAT warhead, accelerating to several times the speed of sound. There was little to no defense against them, although they did have some drawbacks, which was why they were never adopted in real life. You can read more about the vehicle in our dedicated article.

In Armored Warfare, the Bradley AAWS-H is a Tier 8 Premium Tank Destroyer. It’s an ATGM-based TD, carrying special kinetic missiles that actually become more effective with increasing distance to your target. It is the embodiment of a long-range missile carrier and is perfect for players who prefer sniping to close combat.
Abrams AGDS
The Abrams AGDS (Armored Ground Defense System) was a vehicle concept and proposal, drafted in July 1996 by Dr. Asher H. Sharoni (a former colonel in the Israeli Defense Forces) and Lawrence D. Bacon from a Californian company called Western Design Howden. It was supposed to be an air-defense vehicle, protecting the Abrams formations against flying threats, although its weaponry can be deployed against ground targets as well. The United States were, at the time, sorely lacking a vehicle comparable to the Russian Shilka and one of the ideas was to use the Abrams chassis paired with a new turret to produce an armored AA gun that would be able to keep up with the American tank units. This plan was never realized and the vehicle stayed only on paper but you can play the Abrams AGDS in Armored Warfare and experience what it would have been like, had it ever been deployed.

In Armored Warfare, the Abrams AGDS is a very unique Tier 9 Premium Tank Destroyer. What makes it so special are its two large guided missile launchers capable of firing an incredibly devastating volley within seconds. The AGDS can devastate practically every opponent on the battlefield with a single salvo, making it one of the best and most effective mid-to-long range vehicles in the game. At close ranges, it can rely on excellent frontal turret protection and its two 35mm autocannons to keep enemies at bay until the missile launcher reloads to unleash another deadly swarm of missiles. The Abrams AGDS is one of the most feared vehicles in Armored Warfare!
Griffin 120mm
The Armored Warfare version of the Griffin Light Tank is based on an early 2016 tech demonstrator, intended to show the U.S. military during the AUSA 2016 conference that General Dynamics meant business. It was built as a private venture; effectively a scaled-up example of General Dynamics was capable of providing when it came to highly mobile vehicles with a lot of firepower for the U.S. airborne forces. The U.S. Army was impressed and the design has since evolved into what is generally referred to as the MPF Light Tank. You can read more about this vehicle in our dedicated article.

In Armored Warfare, the Griffin 120mm is a Tier 8 Premium Light Tank and a powerful, fast machine, armed not only with its 120mm cannon, but also with special ammunition types, making it deadly at any distance. Few Tier 9 vehicles can match its sheer ferocity on the battlefield.

We hope that you will enjoy the offer and, as always:

See you on the battlefield!

Storyline Campaign: Episode 1 Prizes

Commanders!

We’re happy to show you the Episode 1 prizes of the Storyline Campaign. The principal prize is the BMPT Mod.2017 “Black Mamba”, Samuel Thorpe’s personal vehicle. We took the name and color combination you voted for and adapted it into a skin that you will hopefully enjoy. The skin is available for completing Episode 1 of the Storyline Campaign.

Next are two base paints:
 • Perihelion Black
 • Perihelion Dark Grey

These are or will be available for various missions.

And, last but not least, there are two decal variants of the Perihelion logo as well as the Samuel Thorpe player avatar, also available as specific mission rewards.

We hope that you will enjoy these as well as the campaign itself. It’s still not too late to join, by the way, and it’s easier than before. To find out more, please check this article as well as the Storyline Campaign portal.

See you on the battlefield!

In Development: Vanguard Raid

Commanders!

As we announced before, a new Raid event awaits you in October 2021. However, the Raid: Vanguard will be a bit different.

From the yellow wastes of Venus to Saturn’s icy moons, the Vanguard stands ready to deploy against all threats alien. The Russians once claimed the Armata to be capable of fighting on Mars. But what would tanks look like, were they really required to do so? Take a peek into an alternate reality to find out.
New Mechanics
Let’s start with the basics. The Raid is a month-long event, in which you, as a Raider, conquer certain territory by moving along the lines representing roads and other paths and forming a grid. Each grid intersection has a point that is either a mission that you must complete (Mission Points), or a reward that you may claim (Reward Points). Completing the mission or claiming the reward unlocks another portion of the grid. The main prizes await you in each of the territory map’s corners. Players who complete all missions and claim all rewards receive a special reward.

The core of the event will remain the same, but we’ve made a major improvement. Instead of completing missions and then moving towards the reward points, we’ll also be rewarding the missions directly.

These rewards will include:
 • Vehicle parts for Premium vehicles (CATTB, Armata 152, Hunter AFV and BMPT Mod.2017)
 • Wrecker skins (Stryker, Bradley, Stryker ADATS, Stingray 2 and XM1A3
 • Vanguard camouflages (Vanguard set)

For each mission, the reward will be randomized, visible in advance and will be possible to reroll using a Reroll Token (that is, rerolling a mission will also reroll the reward).

The second improvement increases the overall value you can get from joining a Raid.

The final Raid mission will be easier to complete – instead of completing all other missions, it will be completed by obtaining the four main reward skins. Its reward will also improve – an improved Raid-themed camouflage, decals, flag and a new base paint all await you. But that’s still not all. Completing the final Raid mission will launch Stage 2 with new missions appearing on the map. These missions General type missions will be somewhat more difficult than the Stage 1 ones, but will also feature increased rewards. They will appear once per day and will only be possible to complete using a Tier 9 or Tier 10 vehicle. They will also be possible to reroll.

As usual, you will be able to access the event by:
 • Completing 10 Contract Missions
 • Purchasing access for 499 Gold (click on the Raid icon in your Garage)
Prizes
The main prizes of the event are the elaborate Vanguard series of skins for the following high-Tier:
 • PL01 Tier 10 LT
 • M48 GAU-8 Tier 10 TD
 • CATTB Tier 10 Premium MBT
 • Object 490 Tier 10 Premium MBT

These epic skins turn your machines into veritable starships, ready to rain death upon xenos filth.
