Event: Ranking (PvE, Damage, TD/AFV)

Commanders!

We’re happy to share that we are working on a new event type called Ranking events, and are launching a trial run today.

A server-wide ranking list is now available between March 21 (01:00 CET) and March 25 (21:59 CET). During this trial run, the goal is to deal as much damage as possible using Tank Destroyers and Armored Fighting Vehicles in the PvE (Hard) mode (that is, Tiers 4 to 10).

Please note:

 • The event is available until March 25, 21:59 AM CET
 • The ranking list will refresh once per day (at 6 AM CET, the first results will appear tomorrow morning)
 • Only Tier 4-10 AFVs/TDs count
 • Only regular PvE (Hard) mode counts (not Special Operations)

After the end of the event, Top 3 players will be rewarded as such:

 • First place: 30.000 Battle Coins
 • Second place: 20.000 Battle Coins
 • Third place: 10.000 Battle Coins

It’s also important to note that this is a test run of this event type – things might go wrong and the event might end early.

We’d like to ask you for your patience and, as always:

See you on the battlefield!

 • Khrizantema-S Tier 8 Premium Tank Destroyer
 • Object 787 Gadyuka Tier 6 Premium Tank Destroyer
 • Treasure Trove with 10.000 Gold

Between March 20 and March 27, 2025, the following items will be available:
T-90M Proryv
The T-90M Proryv the most advanced Russian Main Battle Tank currently in service and the ultimate step in a long journey that began with the T-72. You can read more about it in our dedicated article.

In Armored Warfare, the T-90M Proryv is a Tier 10 Premium Main Battle Tank. With its solid firepower, excellent armor and decent mobility, this vehicle is suitable for all players, including fairly new ones. No matter what tactic you choose, the T-90M will not let you down as it is one of the most versatile MBTs in the entire game.

The T-90M is available in our Web Shop via Loot Crates. Collect 100 blueprint pieces from these crates to obtain the vehicle.
BMP-2M Berezhok
The BMP-2M Berezhok is one of the latest modifications of the now obsolete Soviet BMP-2. It received a new turret and a limited numbers of these infantry fighting vehicles are already in service. You can read more about it in our dedicated article.

In Armored Warfare, the BMP-2M is a Tier 9 Premium Armored Fighting Vehicle. While not exactly well-armored, it is fitted with multiple weapon systems, including a powerful 30mm autocannon and deadly Kornet missiles. It is truly one of the most hard-punching AFVs in the game and is suitable for aggressive, skilled players.

This bundle is available in our Web Shop.
BTR-82A
The BTR-82A is the standard wheeled armored fighting vehicle of the Russian army. You can read more about it in our dedicated article.

In Armored Warfare, the BTR-82A is a Tier 8 Premium Armored Fighting Vehicle. Despite its light armor, the BTR-82A can – especially in its upgraded form with missile launchers – hit the enemy where it hurts. Fast, maneuverable and rugged, in skilled hands the BTR-82A turns into one of the deadliest machines of its Tier.

This bundle is available in our Web Shop.
Kurganets-25
The Kurganets-25 Infantry Fighting Vehicle is intended as a cutting edge future replacement to the old BMP series in Russian service. While not as chunky and expensive as the T-15 Armata super-heavy IFV, it’s designed to finally offer the 21st century protection levels the Russian military has been demanding for a long time. However, the design turned out to be quite expensive and while it is currently undergoing state trials, it is unlikely to be ever mass-produced. You can learn more about it in our dedicated article.

In Armored Warfare, the Kurganets-25 is a Tier 9 Premium Tank Destroyer. Even though it offers decent protection and mobility for its class, this vehicle is all about firepower. To make sure you always have the right tool for the job, it comes with three distinctive weapon systems – a 57mm autocannon for light targets, fast and small Bulat missiles for highly mobile targets and, finally, full-sized ATGMs that can defeat pretty much anything on the battlefield. If dealing damage is your thing, few vehicles will match your playstyle better.

This bundle is available in our Web Shop.
Khrizantema-S
The Khrizantema-S is a dedicated tank hunter, built on a modified BMP-3 hull. The first Khrizantema-S prototype appeared in public as early as 1996 with the initial production variant (9P157) entering service in 2005. Around 2010, an upgraded variant called 9P157-2 appeared with a modernized Ukrainian optics system and a hull machinegun the original model lacked. This variant was in use until 2017. You can read more about it in our dedicated article.

In Armored Warfare, the Khizantema-S is a Tier 8 Premium Tank Destroyer. It is quite a stealthy vehicle armed with a twin ATGM launcher. The key to achieving excellent results with this machine is long-range ATGM sniping followed by rapid relocation. The missiles are quite powerful and make hits easy thanks to their excellent performance.

This bundle is available in our Web Shop.
Gadyuka
The Gadyuka (“Viper”) is a Soviet-era fire support vehicle consisting of a T-72A hull and turret but instead of the main gun, the vehicle is armed with two 30mm autocannons and two rocket pods in order to perform better against infantry in urban and mountainous environments. A single prototype was built in 1996 and even though the project was cancelled, it eventually led to the rise of the BMPT Terminator series. You can read more about it in our dedicated article.

In Armored Warfare, the Gadyuka is a Tier 6 Premium Tank Destroyer. Despite having only average protection, its two 30mm autocannons can, along with deadly rocket salvos, rip through enemy vehicles with ease. Indeed, the Gadyuka is one of the most destructive vehicles of its Tier and a worthy addition to every player’s arsenal.

This bundle is available in our Web Shop.
Treasure Trove
Today, we have a special offer for you. A veritable treasure trove of 10.000 Gold awaits you at a discounted price.

Please note that this item can only be purchased once per user. You can find out more about Gold and its uses in our dedicated article.

This bundle is available in our Web Shop.

We hope that you will enjoy the offer and, as always:

See you on the battlefield!

Developer Diary: Shadow Protocol Changes

Commanders!

It’s been some time since the announcement of the Shadow Protocol Battle Path, currently bound to appear in early April. We also discussed the upcoming vehicles and prizes but the thing is, we made some adjustments since the initial announcement. Let’s take a look at them.

First, the KNIFV NLOS LPS. Based on our testing, this vehicle required only minor changes compared to the first version. One thing we did, however, is adjust the missile lock time (reduced for single launches from 3.5s to 3s between missiles) and trajectory to become more practical. The vehicle also had a long spotting range, which we reduced to 390m. Overall, despite its somewhat wacky look, the vehicle is highly viable.

Secondly there’s the Borsuk. The biggest question about this vehicle was its ability’s rate of repair. The current setting is 30 hitpoints per second.

We have also rebalanced the vehicle’s frontal protection (it’ll be better protected from kinetic rounds and less from HEAT rounds and ATGMs), improved the missile reload time and increased the rate of fire.

And, finally, there’s the T-64BV Mod.2022. The big thing here is the frontal armor buff, which the T-64BV Mod.2017 is also getting. The upper frontal plate armor is becoming more durable for both vehicles.

Other than that there were minor issues – we buffed the Kombat gun-launched guided missile on the T-64BV and the Oplot (increased penetration by 25mm, higher non-penetration damage) and reduced the hitpoints from 2800 to 2600 (the same amount the T-64BV Mod.2017 has as they are essentially identical vehicles).

Event: Ranking (PvE, Damage)

Commanders!

We’re happy to share that we are working on a new event type called Ranking events, and are launching a trial run today.

The idea is simple. A server-wide ranking list is now available between March 17 (01:00 CET) and March 20 (01:00 CET). During this trial run, the goal is to deal as much damage as possible using Main Battle Tanks in the PvE (Hard) mode (that is, Tiers 4 to 10).
