Greetings Champions! Here's what happening in the Realm this week:


We've been intently listening to community discussion following the introduction of Support Keywords at the start of Season 6. In our recent blog, we share a bit of how they came to be, how we're addressing feedback, and the open-ended future of how we balance Supports with the communities' help!


Over the past weekend, we experienced severe server interruptions that affected all platforms. Our team & service partners worked diligently over the weekend to help resolve those issues and restore stability. To express our gratitude to players for sticking with us through this, we've activated 3x Champion XP and 4x Gold Earn Rate for the entire week!

This weekend, cast abilities & select champions with no restrictions within Siege, Onslaught, and Team Deathmatch! Rapid Choose Any returns to bring duplicate Champion compositions with reduced ability cooldowns. Ultimates are a no-show, it's time to let those smaller abilities shine!

Starting today, we’re kicking off a week-long Event: Fall of Ascension Peak.Return to Ascension Peak as it is under siege once more, this time from a larger threat: Omen and the Abyssal Lords he serves are here to destroy Jenos once and for all! In the chaos, the Magistrate aims to finally capture Ascension Peak for themselves, unless the Resistance and Paladins are able to stop them. As the title alludes, all may not go their way. Let’s dig right into the content live in the Realm now!


Those familiar with Siege of Ascension Peak will recognize the general gameplay, but as a reminder:

• Play Onslaught on the Ascension Peak map, featuring falling firebombs from ongoing artillery.
• All Champions have 50% cooldown reduction, calling on their strongest selves and empowered by their sides. Speaking of sides…

[h2]Changes[/h2]

• Play as either the Abyss & Magistrate, working together to see Ascension Peak fall or as Paladins & Resistance, allied in defense of Jenos from Omen. Pick from a selection of 17 Champions on either side representing their in-universe factions.
• Based on feedback from Siege of Ascension Peak, we’ve lowered the score limit from 400 to 250 to allow for quicker matches and more chances to play either side of this conflict.

As a part of this Event, we’ve released the final Chronicle of Series 1, detailing how this event came to past in the narrative & giving players a glimpse into how the Realm will change as a result of Omen’s arrival. We’ve been overjoyed with how players have received Chronicles & one of the largest pieces of feedback was wanting a way to experience some of these stories in game. For those uninterested in the Event, we still have some changes headed to the Realm! Starting off, we’re rotating our Core modes once more, bringing back the much-requested Team Deathmatch and giving Payload some time back in the vault. This rotation will stay even after the event ends, so you'll have plenty of time to team up & slay out. We’ve been watching sentiment on socials & every feedback form we’ve held to decide how best to continue to rotate modes & plan to experiment more to provide players the modes they love while keeping things fresh. Huge thanks to every player who responds to these!

The Desert Omens Update is here, and along with it comes our latest Champion Omen, the Sands of Myth II Event Pass, and a whole host of balance changes & bug fixes!

Witness Omen as the latest Damage Champion joins the Realm, serving under his Queen, seeking to see to the fall of Jenos and his home. Wield his hybrid shotgun & combo-enabling Ominous Brand Passive and feel the power of the Abyss flow through your gameplay.



[h2]New Event Pass: Sands of Myth II[/h2]

Return through the sands of time to one of Paladins’ greatest Battle Pass themes in this new Event Pass! Fight as the visage of Sobek in Crocfather Makoa, or devote yourself to Sekhmet as Weaver Reborn Lillith, and progress this 30-tier event pass complete with a suite of 2D cosmetics, Chests, Crystals, and even a Mount!

As we enter the final few weeks of Anniversary, we move further into Paladins' timeline with which Champions are free to try out! I'm sure Omen is thrilled Jenos is among them.

This weekend, enemies will drop health packs on elimination as Siege Remixed goes full classic Shooter! This modifier will be live from Friday - Sunday and encourages you to push your kills to reap sweet health rewards.
