Ghost Factory Is Open!
Coal mounds, industrial vehicles, lanes among hills, and a huge abandoned factory complex at the center, which can be considered a map inside a map.
Fancy a Cuppa?
We're continuing to work on in-game sounds, which is why we're happy to present the much-anticipated British national voiceover! In addition, British English was added to the list of game client localizations. Here's how you can check out this stylish crew accent:
 • Play in British and Australian (included in the U.K. tech tree) vehicles with the "National crew voice" option enabled (Settings → Other)
 • Play in any vehicles with English (U.K.) selected in the client (the new localization) and the "National crew voice" option disabled
Since there is so much text to translate, you may still notice American terms here and there in the British localization. But we're working on this.
Balance and Economy
Inactive players will no longer receive XP or credits for battle. Also, we reconfigured the credit economy and counterbalanced homogenization, a hidden armor parameter.

This time, balance changes were made to Tier X vehicles. The adjustments seek to maintain the gameplay comfort of heavy tanks while preventing them from replacing other types of vehicles. They also aim to enhance the benefits of other types of vehicles. Learn more about these changes on the website.
Updated Interface
It's time to give a new design to the in-game Store. Item cards are now larger, bundle contents are more informative, and discounts are easier to notice. The vertical orientation of tabs corresponds to the Garage's screen design. Moreover, daily containers can be opened in one action.

The Avatars screen was not left untouched either. Now, it's more similar to the Storage screen. All avatars are divided by category into separate tabs: Premium, Accumulative, Special, Other, and Temporary. Similarly to Storage, to remove the red marker on new avatars, you no longer need to select them. Now you simply need to go to the corresponding tab and view the new avatars.
Improvements and Fixed Bugs
• The Strv 74, Leo, Emil I, Emil II, Kranvagn (as well as the Nidhögg and Nord Legendary camos), and WZ-120-1G FT were updated to the new graphics quality.
 • The Pike Legendary camouflage for the Object 260 was added to the Camo menu.
 • An effect that shows the battle result ("Victory", "Defeat", "Draw") and a corresponding note ("All tanks destroyed", "Base captured", etc.) was introduced.
 • The line of accumulative avatars for Rating Battles was extended. Now, each league has 6 levels.
 • Changes were made to the contents of the Basic Day's Supply and Standard Day's Supply containers. Instead of certificates for purchasing a Tier VI Premium tank, certificates for purchasing Premium tanks of other tiers will now drop from these containers more often.
 • Some parameters were changed for the Improved Engine Power Boost consumable. Now, it increases engine power by 40%, turn rate by 5%, and maximum forward speed by 5 km/h.
 • The "Tank Auto-Turn" option was added to the touch control settings. It is intended for newcomers who are accustomed to the fact that the camera prioritizes the direction of movement (like in other shooter games, for example). The option is disabled by default.
 • The bug where the replay of a battle launched incorrectly if the player hadn't logged into the game was fixed.
 • Various screens, descriptions, and notifications were improved.
 • General bugs and client crashes were fixed.

The Maneuverable Škoda T 27

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]

When it moves, it's faster than wind. When it shoots, it's one of the top tanks by damage caused. Enter battle in the Škoda T 27 and snatch victory from the hands of your enemies!

Until August 20, the in-game Store will feature containers that may include the Škoda T 27 or other rewards. Each container has a Škoda T 27 Charm. Collect 25 Charms and get the tank!
Rampant Legendary Camouflage
Some time after your first battle in the Škoda T 27, you may receive a personal offer to get the Rampant Legendary camouflage. It's an excellent outfit for a daring fighter! Your tank will also receive a suitable name: Škoda T 27 Rampant.
Fast and Dangerous
The Škoda T 27 is a maneuverable tank equipped with a gun featuring an autoloader and a 3-shell magazine. Just what you need to leave the enemy with a lasting impression!

Let's start with dynamics. It's everything a medium tank should have: the top speed is 50 km/h, which can be reached quite quickly by the Škoda T 27, thanks to its good power-to-weight ratio. That means you can have it all: quickly hide behind a corner after taking a successful shot, then move on to find a new target straight away.

Speaking of going around a corner, the Škoda T 27 is quite confident at making turns. Thanks to its hull traverse speed of 50.06 deg/s, you'll easily make any turn on your way towards safe cover or a new firing position.

The Škoda T 27 loves to shoot. And with such a nice gun, who wouldn't? First of all, it has a three-shell magazine. Second of all, it takes just 1.5 seconds to reload shells into the magazine. Here's your plan of action: select a nice position, aim within 4.2 seconds, and release 3 shells in 3 seconds at unsuspecting enemies!

Just like that, you'll have inflicted a solid amount of damage. The damage parameter of the Škoda T 27 is quite impressive: 660 HP per drum. That's pretty nice for a medium tank.

And don't miss your chance to feast your eyes on great views from hilltops! With an 8-degree depression angle, the view will be all the more beautiful thanks to the enemies you can successfully target.

The most important thing during battles in the Škoda T 27 is not to get caught in the enemy's sights. Considering the tank's weak armor, this might prove a fatal mistake. Don't wait for devastating return fire from enemies. Stay one step ahead and enjoy your victories!

DETAILS

Somua SM: Armor and an Autoloader

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]
It looks like the AMX 50 100 or Lorraine. What, you didn't penetrate it? That's because, unlike its lightly armored counterparts, the heavy Somua SM confidently withstands enemy hits. Its three-shell autoloading gun rids an enemy of 930 HP per magazine, pleasing its commander with victories and a solid credit income!
Containers that may include the Somua SM or other rewards will be available in the Store through August 6. Each container has a Somua SM Charm. Collect 25 Charms and get the tank!
Grenadier Legendary Camouflage

Sometime after your first battle in the Somua SM, you might get an offer for a Legendary camo that changes the tank's name in battle to Somua Grenadier.

Confident Shooter

Despite their physical resemblance and equal armament, unlike the researchable AMX 50 100, the new Somua SM relies on protection, not on mobility. Its turret has 200 mm of armor in the lower part and 135 mm of armor in the upper part, while the thickness of the upper armor plate of its hull is 155 mm. Taking into account the slopes, these parts of the armor can withstand hits from guns that penetrate up to 240 mm.

A small change in the hull's position towards an enemy shot increases the effective thickness of the armor, but don't overdo it, or else you risk your tracks. The lower armor plate is traditionally weak—its thickness is only 50 mm. So try not to expose it to enemy fire. The turret's vulnerable points are the commander's hatch and a small armor strip below the gun. The Somua SM must maneuver to prevent the enemy from targeting these spots.

It's important to pay attention to the turret's position in battle. It is an oscillating type of turret where gun depression affects the slope angle of turret armor. This angle is optimal when the gun is parallel to the ground. Elevating the gun will expose the vulnerable spot below it. If the gun is depressed, the entire upper part of the turret can be easily penetrated.
The Somua SM boasts a perfect gun depression angle of 10 degrees. This tank effectively takes advantage of terrain irregularities to hide its lower armor plate. Sticking the turret out from behind the hill, reeling off the entire magazine at the enemy, and retreating calmly to safety for reloading is a great strategy!

The Somua SM's gun features a 3-shell magazine with a 3-second reload time between shots. During the first 6 seconds, the tank is capable of dealing 930 HP of damage. The 232 mm of penetration is enough to penetrate most Tier VIII targets head-on. Its dispersion and aiming time are not of sniper quality, therefore, its gun is most effective at close and medium ranges.

After all three shells are fired, the tank needs quite a long time to reload: 25 seconds without equipment or 23 seconds with food provisions and Improved Ventilation installed. To survive this temporary helplessness, the Somua SM's commander must choose directions with multiple covers and avoid fighting on their own. This is especially important because the new tank can't quickly escape enemy fire and drive to the other end of the map.

The Somua SM moves steadily, just like a heavy tank with decent armor should. It will take just a couple of seconds to accelerate to 20 km/h, before reaching 30 km/h in about 6 seconds. Accelerating to the maximum of 40 km/h is possible when moving on a long, straight road or down a hill. The leisurely-paced suspension doesn't allow this tank to meet every shot from fans of outmaneuvering with its frontal armor, but the quick turret will ensure that the Somua SM always keeps offenders at gunpoint and doesn't fail to return fire.

Though the Somua SM is decently armored, it's not suitable for playing on the first line of attack. Its protection should be primarily used not for blocking damage but for effectively trading damage with enemies. To take aim and deliver all three shells right on target, the Somua SM must take advantage of its increased protection and stop.

In clashes with other heavies, the Somua SM will demonstrate great results on the second line of attack, teaming up with the most durable heavies like the Tiger II. Unleashing the entire magazine and safely reloading under the cover of an ally will allow this tank to successfully breach enemy defenses.

If medium tanks on the enemy team outnumber those on the allied team, the Somua SM can reinforce this flank. Its appearance will surprise the enemy while its frontal armor and firepower will help allies to quickly wipe out the enemy "cavalry". It's important that allied medium tanks stay low key and wait for the Frenchman's arrival, as it doesn't stand a chance on its own.

In any case, the Somua SM is capable of dealing impressive damage, and the amount of credits earned in battle will delight the commander of this new tank.
