Back to the drawing board

Sometimes things seem great and then they don't. And that's what's happened with the next update **cough** Multiple times **cough**.

As such I am going back through the earlier areas and doing some tweaks that will have an impact on the story.

I'll make sure to post all these changes in the discussions so that you can just read the changes without having to start over.

These may end up being small changes or a may even end up not being pushed live.

But I am getting back into full, part-time game developer mode once more and will look to have some great new content for Origin Of Destiny this year.

In Other News.
Unlike Moving Day, Origin Of Destiny: Crimson Awakening is going to remain a Steam Exclusive and will also remain Free2Play.

What's Happening In 2019?

It’s been well over a year since the last update and to be honest, I’ve been taking a bit of a break from the Origin Of Destiny Universe. But now I’m back and working on this game and push it closer to a final release.

The next update will be partly new story and partly bug fixes.

If you are aware of any bugs, lease let me know in the EA-Bugs forums and I will add them to the list.

Also if you have any ideas to improve the gameplay, let me know in EA-Suggestions

Changes to expect in the next update(s)

So, news… lets give you some of that.
As well as working on the update I will also be redoing most of the events in the game.
Expect the following changes (Although some may come sooner than others)

- I Probably won’t need to say this but. More Story!
- Spelling fixes… I hope (I wish RPG Maker had spell checker)
- Changes to NPC Interaction in some early areas.
- Improvements to the main story “These shouldn’t need you to start a new game, but will provide more flavour text to the main game and be done as part of the NPS changes”
- Enemy Balancing
- Skill Balancing
- Introduction of “Extreme” Difficulty Option.

I also plan to add more advanced mechanics, but if they require you to start a new game they won’t be added until a transition from Early Access to Full Release, I will look to add a “Legacy Version” that will be the previous build without the features, It will be unsupported, except for Bug Fixes, (expect this after the main story has been finished)

These changes will start come in the R16X builds (R160 to R169)

Reason For No Updates

So as most you have noticed there have been no new updated released to add more to the game.

Well that is, unfortunately due to some data loss as well as some aspects of the story not working.

So.... it's back to the drawing board of where to take the story.

Luckily have 3 active game projects all being worked on so ideas are being bounced around to find the best fit.

I won't say when but expect an update at some point (Hopefully soon) that I hope will be worth the wait!
