ENGAGE - Update to v3.10

NEW
- Enabled the use of both hand controllers to interact with menus.
- Enabled VR users to type on the virtual keyboard by tapping keys with their hand controllers.
- Implemented quick links to speed up access to sessions.
- Added an option to the Invite panel in a session for users to copy a quick link to the session.
- Added new languages for voice recognition when interacting with AI characters.
- Added processing to remove special characters included in text returned by AI services to prevent them from being verbalized.
- Added a subfolder named AI-Generated to the Images folder, where images generated by AI services will be saved.
- Added an option for users to empty their recycle bin and permanently delete the files.
- Updated to Unity 2022.3.
- Replaced the teleport sit marker with a higher resolution, language-neutral version, and moved the ghost seat closer to the actual seat position.
- Removed the head-tracking gaze cursor that appeared when hand tracking was lost.
- Prevented LITE users from being made co-hosts in a session, to improve security.
- Fixed event creation by PLUS users to prevent the overbooking warning from appearing unnecessarily.
- Ensured that midnight appears as 00:00 instead of 24:00 in event listings.
- Fixed an issue with scalable events so that if a user leaves and rejoins an event, they join the first instance that has capacity.
- Fixed an issue in scalable events that caused the user count on the in-session menu to be incorrect.
- Fixed an issue that could cause user input to stop registering in the personal web browser on Quest headsets.
- Fixed muting on VR headsets to ensure that if a user was unmuted before they entered away mode, they are unmuted when they return.
- Fixed the option to mute LITE users so that non-LITE users aren't also affected.
- Fixed the notification when a host requests that a user unmutes their microphone.
- Fixed the ability to place the text cursor (caret) at a specific position in a text field when using hand controllers.
- Fixed an issue that prevented users from downloading camera images after they uploaded them to Cloud File Manager.
- Fixed the display of feedback to a user if they attempt to play a YouTube video through an invalid URL.
- Fixed an issue that could cause the visibility icons to not be shown in the Content Editor curves view.

FIXED
- Fixed the menu buttons on the VR tablet to reduce the distance at which they’re activated.
- Fixed an issue that limited the areas in which a host could use the Summon All tool.
- Fixed the ability to enter a spawn point name in a Session Portal IFX.
- Fixed an issue with key responsiveness on the virtual keyboard when used in the Content Editor.
- Fixed an issue that could cause changes to start and end times made in the Content Editor Effect Options panel to not be saved when an object was edited for the first time.
- Fixed an issue that prevented cloud file videos with an obsolete CDN address from playing in ENGAGE.
- Fixed the appearance of the file format dialog that appears when a user plays a video from cloud files.

Release Notes v3.9

NEW
- Launched the School of AI - where users can talk with 20 different historical figures whose lives spanned from the ancient world to the US civil rights era. As part of the launch, all ENGAGE users will have access to the School of AI during the month of October. To arrange access after this time, please contact sales.
- Replaced the keyboard that appears for VR users with a version that has an improved layouts for each language, custom layouts for specific input types, easier access to common keys and commands, and can be repositioned in 3D space.
- Set events that are associated with a persistent session to automatically start at the designated time. This removes the need for an event organizer to manually start the event. The event will also automatically be removed from the event list at the designated end time.
- Added an option for hosts to set all users who are in a session, or join later, to appear as basic avatars.
- Updated session creation so that all sessions created by a member of an Enterprise group are owned by an Enterprise group. This enables Enterprise features and services to be available in standard Sessions.
- Added the ability to replace the public list of outfit options with a custom collection for a specific Enterprise group.

IMPROVED
- Increased the maximum resolution for YouTube videos to 1080p in standard locations and 4k in UHD locations.
- Implemented progressive download of outfit thumbnails to reduce the possibility that a slow connection will cause the application to become unresponsive.
- Replaced gender labels with body shape options in the avatar editor.
- Implemented a more efficient process to distribute audio returned by text-to-speech services. For example, when users interact with an AI agent.
- Set persistent sessions to reset their location to the ENGAGE Hub if there is an error loading the current location.
- Updated the location anchor to appear in front of a user when they choose to reset their anchor's placement.
- Standardized the presentation of dates and times shown in the application.
- Improved consistency in the sequence of dialogs that a user may see when they join a plaza from the ENGAGE LINK map.

- Fixed the display of 2D 360 YouTube videos.
- Fixed an issue that caused users who joined a session after a YouTube video was muted to still hear the audio.
- Fixed support for YouTube videos loaded through a /live or /short URL.
- Fixed an issue that could cause some users in a session to not hear an AI character's responses.
- Fixed an issue that caused Remember Me settings to be lost when a user lost their network connection during use of the application.
- Fixed an issue that could prevent a user from changing their height when they used imperial units.
- Fixed an issue that could cause an avatar to appear in the wrong pose and position when it first loads in a session.
- Fixed an issue that caused a height entered as 5 ft. to be displayed as 4 ft. 12 in.

- Fixed an issue that could cause a warning about recording more than five users to appear when less than five users were selected.
- Fixed an issue that could cause host and microphone icons to be incorrectly positioned within a user's nameplate.
- Fixed the button to leave the mixed reality room and set up room space that appears when a user s device isn't fully set up to use mixed reality.
- Fixed an issue that could prevent a user from being able to log in when their device used the Hijri calendar.
- Fixed the tooltip text on the session creation screen.
- Fixed an issue that caused the in-session microphone icon's visibility to be turned off after a change in location.

KNOWN ISSUES
This release of ENGAGE has the following known issues, which we are working to resolve in a future update:
- YouTube videos may not play on Apple iPhone or iPad devices.
- 360 YouTube videos cannot be viewed on any device.
