ENGAGE - Update to v4.0
NEW
- Added a new, full-featured personal drawing pad to facilitate both private and collaborative drawing.
- Added support for the Logitech MX Ink stylus for users of Quest 2, Quest 3, and Quest 3S headsets. This includes left and right handed use for drawing on surfaces, adjusting line style in response to applied pressure, drawing in the air with the 3D pen, and navigating through ENGAGE.
- Added host settings to control whether Drawpads are available in a session and whether non-hosts can connect their Drawpad to a whiteboard.
- Added the ability for the drawings on a whiteboard to be captured in a spatial recording.
- Added the ability to connect whiteboards together, so that anything drawn on one whiteboard is mirrored to another.
- Redesigned the tool panel used when drawing on a whiteboard in VR.
- Added the new Drawpad as the interface when using a whiteboard on a desktop device.
- Added the ability to capture a 2D video recording from either an avatar's point of view or the view from a camera IFX. Users can add multiple camera IFX and switch between capture sources during the recording.
- Added the ability to press the Z key or middle mouse button on desktop devices to toggle between looking around and interacting with the environment.
- Added the ability to press the B key to toggle the visibility of IFX bubbles.
- Introduced limits on the number of LITE users that can join some types of session.
- Added commercial sessions. These are like persistent sessions, but don t limit the number of LITE users that can join.
- Added an indicator on the in-session menu that shows the LITE user limit and how many are currently in the session.
- Made the ability to lock a session an Enterprise-only feature.
- Added a host control to turn off the ability for users to open a mixed reality passthrough window.
- Renamed the Content Editor to the Experience Editor. The files that users create in the Experience Editor are now called Experiences.
IMPROVED
- Reduced the space requirements when a host summons users in a session and set all users to be summoned to the same point.

- Updated the default ElevenLabs voice to a more recent model. Users can override it with their own selection.
- Changed the server that bug reports are sent to so that users on more restricted networks can still log bugs.
- Adjusted the selectable area for delete and lock buttons to better match the boundary of the button graphics and prevent accidental selection.
FIXED
- Fixed 2FA code entry so that users on desktop devices can submit with the return key and users on VR devices can submit with the return button on the virtual keyboard.
- Fixed the moving seats that are used in some vehicle IFX.
- Fixed the ability to replace the audio in a spatial recording.
- Fixed an issue that could cause no screens to be detected when a user attempted to share their desktop.
- Fixed an issue that caused a user's credentials to be rejected the first time they tried to log in to ENGAGE after they registered for an account in the web manager.
- Fixed the ability to use the X button to close the application without experiencing a delay.
- Fixed an issue with PCVR that caused a user to lose hand tracking if the ENGAGE application window lost focus.
