o Upgraded the ENGAGE application from Unity 2019 to Unity 2021 to improve compatibility with the latest versions of third-party software, and to enable the addition of new features. [More Information]
o Changed the lighting system from gamma to linear color space to increase the level realism in environments.

o Added the ability to capture an image of your avatar to use as your profile image. [More Information]

[h3]Recordings[/h3]
o Added the ability to capture interactive objects in recordings. These are objects that any user with hand controllers can grab and manipulate, even if they don’t have permission to add or modify IFX.

o Updated client SDK project folders and rebuilt locations and IFX to ensure compatibility with the upgrade to Unity 2021. [More Information]

[h3]Emojis [/h3]
o Changed use of emojis to be on by default in new Sessions and Events. A host can disable them if required.

[h3]Teleport[/h3]
o Improved teleportation to remove a subtle bounce that occurred at the end of the teleport operation, which may have induced motion sickness in some users.

[h3]Sessions[/h3]
o Created a more consistent sequence of checks and UI prompts when users join a Session.
o Removed the Advanced Options panel that users could access when they created a Session, since there are currently no Advanced Options to select.

o Removed the Record button from a user’s in-Session menu when they don’t have permission to create recordings.

[h3]Content Editor[/h3]
o Added the ability to select keys in the graph editor and then frame the view on only those selected keys.

o Improved compression of avatar assets to reduce the amount of data sent over the network.

o Fixed media screens so that they don’t appear translucent when media is loading.
o Fixed an issue that could sometimes block users with PLUS or ENTERPRISE subscription from enabling the Shared Screen permission for other users.

o Fixed an issue where a long load time for a location could cause a user to be returned to the menu screen after the load completed, instead of entering the location.

[h3]UI[/h3]
o Fixed an issue on the account creation pages in the ENGAGE application that prevented the close application button from working.

[h3]Content Editor [/h3]
o Fixed an issue that could prevent changes to sequence properties, such as the filename or sequence length, from being saved.
o Fixed a delay between deleting a key in the graph editor and that change taking effect in other views.
o Fixed the display of channel visibility icons in the graph editor when users leave and then return to the graph editor so that they accurately reflect channel state.
o Set a minimum size for the editor panel.

o Prevented password unmasking from persisting between visits to a page in the application.

[h3]Localization [/h3]
o Added missing localization text in the UI and for newly added locations and IFX.

[h3]Avatars [/h3]
o Fixed an issue that caused avatars to appear invisible, small, or below the floor to users that joined a Session after the affected avatars entered away mode.
o Removed the default name, host status, and device strings that momentarily appeared on the Users page when a user joined a Session.

Fatboy Slim's career has always been punctuated with fun and firsts and this first-of-its-kind event will take you on an immersive virtual reality experience, unlike any other VR concert that you’ve experienced before!

The 45-minute adventure will take your avatar into the burrows of Fatboy Slim’s mind; starting at the drive-in diner, where you’ll begin the journey with friends and fans.

You will find a Fatboy Slim poster, once you load into this plaza and follow the steps by pressing 'Click to Register' button here. Alternatively, you can visit out landing page and follow the registration steps. Registration is mandatory to acces this event on the day.

o Fixed an issue that could prevent changes to the time value field in a Skip to Time IFX from being saved.
o Fixed an issue where use of the undo option could cause objects, such as image IFX, to begin to visibly flicker.
o Fixed an issue where transformations applied to objects were not added to the undo history, and so use of the undo option ignored those actions.
o Fixed an issue where audio files loaded through the Cloud File Manager were not audible until after you saved and reloaded the sequence.
o Restored the ability to add triggered effects to interactive IFX.
o Fixed the appearance of the Video Screen (Flat External URL) IFX to remove a transparent strip that was displayed at its center.

o Fixed an issue where access to the emojis panel could carry over into a session where emojis were disabled, although the user could not activate any emojis.

o Fixed an issue where a user could not interact with parts of their in-Session menu while their avatar was on a moving platform or object.
o Fixed an issue that caused multiline titles in the loading environment to be partially cut off.
o Fixed an issue with the hard mute icon that appears above an avatar’s head that caused it to be seen through objects and scenery.
o Fixed an issue that caused the user interface to show through parts of the media loading spinner.
o Corrected the title on the virtual keyboard that appears when a user performs a search for a saved video link.
o Fixed an issue where the indication that content is playing remained visible when content playback was interrupted by a user loading a video link or web link.

[h3]VR headsets[/h3]
o Fixed an issue where the avatar’s hand remained visible when interacting with the in-Session menu on PICO and VIVE headsets.
o Fixed an issue where hand controllers were not visible on PICO and VIVE headsets.


NOTE : ENGAGE XR no longer supports stand-alone VR headsets that were released before 2020, which includes Oculus Quest 1, Pico Neo 2, and VIVE Focus Plus devices. This is due to the continuing withdrawal of support by hardware manufacturers and the increasing demands of modern VR. Users with these devices may continue to access ENGAGE, but we cannot guarantee the stability or performance that they will experience.
