Transition to 1.0

🕷️ Spider Wars, the epic arachnid adventure that once spun its web across screens, is now taking its final bow. As we step out of the early access cocoon, we want to share our heartfelt gratitude with our loyal web-slingers and eight-legged explorers.

The Journey So Far
From the very beginning, Spider Wars crawled into your hearts. We embarked on this journey together, weaving intricate narratives, battling venomous foes, and exploring the tangled threads of our imagination. You, our players, were the architects of this digital silk—a community that swung through every update, every bug fix, and every daring leap from skyscraper to skyscraper.

A Web of Challenges
But alas, even the most resilient spiders face challenges. Sales didn’t weave the golden silk we hoped for. The marketplace was a labyrinth, and our little arachnids struggled to find their place. We spun intricate mechanics, crafted captivating lore, and designed colossal webs, yet the winds of fate blew us in unexpected directions.

The Final Thread
With heavy hearts, we’ve decided to let Spider Wars rest. There won’t be any more updates, no new threads to spin. Our team of passionate devs will move on to new adventures, perhaps even donning the exoskeletons of mechs or exploring uncharted galaxies. But Spider Wars will forever remain etched in our memories—a dew-kissed web shimmering in the morning sun.

Thank You, Web Warriors
To our players, our testers, and our fellow dreamweavers, thank you. Your feedback, bug reports, and enthusiasm fueled our creativity. You swung alongside us, and for that, we’re grateful. 🕸️

What’s Next?
As the sun sets on Spider Wars, we invite you to explore other dimensions, chase new quests, and discover untold stories. Perhaps our paths will cross again, in a different corner of the digital multiverse.

Until then, remember: Every web has its final strand.
There will be a new project on the horizon.

Thank you to every one of you!

Update Delays

Hi all
We hope you are well and safe during these tough times. We are still working to try finish the migration to steam networking. This is a huge task and is taking more time than we had anticipated. Our programming team is hard at work trying to get this done. As Spider Wars is coming to an end we have started work on a much smaller Game with the Art team in order to try get some more funding for the studio.

Things are tough for everyone at the moment and we wish you all the best of luck.

Projected Timeline

Hi all just a quick update on the situation of the update.
The Update will be delayed until at least January 2020 as we have no other choice than to redo the entire networking in the project. This is a time consuming task.
We hate to delay updates but we would rather take longer to deliver something playable, with quality, than rushing out an update.
Thanks for your patience.
