Hey everyone!

We have big news today. We have teamed up with PARAMOUNT PICTURES to bring you TOP GUN 3D for free in Bigscreen.

Open Bigscreen, join the lobby, enter a showtime, and watch Top Gun with thousands of people around the country live at the same time! It's just like a real-world movie theater, with the immersion and social experience, but from the comfort of your home.



If you haven't watched a 3D movie in Bigscreen before, you're going to be blown away!

Here are the requirements:

• United States only due to licensing restrictions with movie studios (we're working on international movie rights with movie studios in 2018)
  
• Windows 10 due to technical limitations of our livestreaming
  
• VR headset

Today's update adds 4 new "daytime" environments : the Living Room, South Balcony, Kitchen, and Side Room

ICYMI, other recent updates include the Avatar Update and the Cinema Update

Additional bug fixes and modifications in today's update:
- Improved the interaction design and made it easier to poke the Tablet UI using the laser pointer/stylus
- Improved the avatar creator . Shirts/customizations can be applied by dropping it on your body.
- Improved the virtual keyboard
- Fixed LeapMotion support

Some people have asked about how to interact with the Bigscreen Tablet, monitor, etc. There are now 3 interaction methods . Note: if you liked the old way of interacting with Bigscreen UI, you still can do that. It hasn't changed, we've only added new methods to make it easier for others.

Laser (our "original" interaction setup): point at the Tablet or monitor and trigger/A. Your hand turns into a laser pointer, and you can now interact with the Tablet/monitor/etc. from a distance.

Finger Poke (new): hold the grip to make an "trigger" finger 👉 and poke

Stylus Poke (new): using the laser pointer/stylus, poke the buttons

There are still several bugs and performance issues we are working on fixing. Please keep reporting your bugs and help us out!
