Hey everyone,

Patch #5 is now available! There were just some minor bug fixes that should not affect how you use Bigscreen today, but just make sure to update so that you'll be on the same version as everyone else!

New Channels

• 007 - Films of the action, cars and shaken (not stirred) martinis of the world’s greatest spy, James Bond, available 24/7.
  
• Flicks of Fury - The fists and flips will be coming fast and furious on Pluto's exclusively martial arts movies channel.

A new update was just pushed! It contains several small fixes and an important one where some users were unable to launch Bigscreen properly:

• Fixed a few missing icons
  
• Fixed a black screen on launch
  
• Voice indicator improvements
  
• Blocked user's popcorn should not be visible anymore
  

We forgot to mention this in the previous update, but if you haven't figured it out yet, Distraction Free Mode will hide popcorn, paint, some user-movement sounds, and the newly implemented voice indicator icon. You can find this option under Settings > Multiplayer > Distraction Free Mode:

We released a new patch today with several changes from our end that doesn't need to be mentioned, but the most important one for you all is... an icon to visualize who is speaking!

We had an exciting launch of our new cinema last week and Grand Opening event! The Bigscreen developers spent two-hours answering the community questions from our Discord group, Twitch, and in Bigscreen! You can watch the full video here:

• Quests will work with just the left controller on
  

Unfortunately, Index still does not have full Knuckles finger-tracking support. We aim to implement that by 2020 as it requires a significant technical overhaul of our systems, and we've hit development issues.

The Desktop Audio Streaming guide has also been updated with more images in the Proper Steps section. We hope to improve this process in the future!

2 months ago, we unveiled Bigscreen Home, a modern-themed penthouse, in our massive Bigscreen TV update. Today, we’re excited to show you the Modern Cinema. This brand new environment is designed to look like your local movie theater, and is perfect for watching movies with your friends in VR.



We also added Popcorn, our first physics-based interactive toy. Grab some popcorn and throw it around—if you make a mess, the popcorn kernels will automatically disappear! We plan to add more interactive, physics-based toys in the future like soda cans and mini-games. What toys would you like to see?



We also added Distraction Free Mode, allow you to block popcorn, 3D markers drawings, and some multiplayer sounds (go to Settings > Multiplayer)

Starting in September, we will be hosting premium 3D Movie Nights in partnership with major movie studios: you can buy a "virtual movie ticket" to watch amazing 3D movies in our cinema with people around the world.
