Hotfix v1.1.5.2

Without giving away any spoilers, the secret path issues from Episode 2, Level 2, have been fixed.
• Passage displays properly on every stage now
• Unlocking of the secret path issues fixed

There are other issues that we're aware of, and more updates are planned, including the Secret Level for Episode 3. We are not done yet, we are just busy.

Patch 1.1.5 - Enter the "Hell's Kitchen" (new Secret Level)

Johnny, all cozy lying on the sofa under a pile of warm sheets, staring at the fireplace in their living room, shuddered at the thought that Big Red Demon almost made a soup of him once. He can still taste the hellish vegetables thrown in the same huge boiling cauldron he was soaking in.

All of a sudden, he shouted, "Big Red Demon!! Where did that demon go? What if he's trying to make a meal out of the pets?! I must go back, there must be a hidden entrance to his realm!"




Second secret level was added to the Episode 2 - can you find secret entrance to the Big Red Demon's domain? Do you have what it takes to save all the pets from the Hell's Kitchen?

In addition to the secret level, the following changes were done:
  • Steam Workshop Level & User Level browsers issues fixed
  • Steam Workshop levels now show finished level and downloaded maps are colored differently
  • Multiple Stun issues fixed
  • Missing heart added to the end of E1L03
  • Some art pieces were improved to match the overall style
  • Fixed incorrect tile placements in some maps
  • Level Editor improvements
    - Attribute browser & placement (explanation for each attribute added)
    - New zoom out level added for better overview of the map (TAB)
    - You can now scroll the map by holding middle mouse button
    - Various quality of life improvements

Have you heard about very special Mushrooms growing in the underworld? You may have found one and experienced something magnificent...

For those of you who did, you can now enable special effect from the game settings and play the whole game in that style. Next to that, you can also access Gore level setting to make your adventures even more messy (or less for that matter).

Other fixes and updates:
  • Local Level browser added to play local levels which you shared with others manually without using Steam. That way you don't have to run them through level editor.
  • Secret Level score is now added to overall score. If you've finished the Secret Level already, score will be automatically updated after starting the game.
  • Level editor is now showing tool bar in the right order
  • Level editor level browser is properly showing only .map files now.
  • Plenty of missing / invalid / wrong tiles fixed
  • Some objects that kept moving on pause are fixed
  • E1L03 - Added escape route to the spikes on the bottom left corner.
  • E3L03 & E3L04 - Backgrounds updated
  • Skeleton collision adjustment
  • Possessed Trap fixed - it can be blocked by pushing objects over it and collision position fixed.
  • Knife Thrower hand will hurt you now if you stand next to when it throws knife.
  • House wall faces will properly damage you now
  • When opening Status screen on Custom levels it will show only available challenges
  • Zombies rising from the ground can be smashed with the pushing block now

Here is another Patch to make your adventures more pleasant. Thank you for all your reports!

Following issues fixed
  • Invisible collisions, gaps and tiles fixed in multiple levels
  • "Dizzy Stars" never disappear after getting thrown in the air or die while stunned
  • Ground Cannon not shooting at Johnny when standing
  • Secret Level 2nd invalid exit
  • Purple (not killable spiders) not hurting Johnny
  • Achievement 'Witchiepoo' not counting witch kills properly
  • Getting pulled into the wall when climbing upwards from the Ground with wall next to you
  • Getting stuck in house broken grounds
  • Achievement 'Lord of the Flies' getting achieved even when flies are killed
  • When placing Saw in level editor, it will be show a preview of rat instead one of the saw
  • Saws will now change direction when reaching the gap or hitting the invisible object collision


Updates:
  • Your last Compass position will carry over to the next level and even to the next game session

Last one uploaded is Castle Towers, fortress in the swamp, full of secrets and puzzles, you should definitely check it out. Patch v1.0.8 - Secret Level appears

It's another stormy night and Johnny dreams about his past adventures in the Under World. Johnny is standing on top of the bone which is rising tall above the thick poisonous cloud. Skeletal figure flies towards him and in an attempt to dodge it, Johnny slips and falls into the chasm screaming...

Still screaming, Johnny awakes in his bed and shouts: "Nooo, I haven't been there before! I must go back to find that place and save all the pets."




First secret level was added to the Episode 1 - can you find it and see what Johnny saw in his dreams? Can you conquer it and save all the pets?

In addition to the secret level, the following changes were done:
  • Castle ceiling spikes will deal damage
  • Spiky bones from E3L06 will deal damage
  • Zombie arm rising from the grave will properly damages player
  • Knife Throwing hand will shoot at the player if standing on top of it
  • Floating jump pad removed from E3L04
  • Holding jump on jump pad won't send Johnny flying anymore
  • Sliding on jump pad fixed
  • "Get all Johnnies" challenge removed from E2L08 since there are no Johnnies
  • Finishing level on higher difficulty will mark lesser difficulties as beaten by default.
  • Few new tiles added
  • Text typos fixed
