Draco Dux is now ... Ghosts and Dragons!

NEW

  • changed game name to Ghosts and Dragons
  • next update brings non-vr support for all devices
  • reworked all game mechanics to suit VR and non-VR
  • UPCOMING -> keyboard and mouse support
  • UPCOMING -> joypad support
  • UPCOMING -> Steam Deck support


IMPORTANT
  • upcoming update (soon!) will introduce a menu to play in non-VR and VR mode via SteamStore interface
  • old Draco Dux VR builds will be available from a beta branch, with password -> will be shared soon, with additional instructions
  • Steam Deck and all controllers will be supported

INVENTORY & TUTORIAL LEVEL

REGULAR UPDATE #3: INVENTORY & TUTORIAL LEVEL




NEW:

  • added Dragon Interactions: when 1:1 dragon now look at player
  • added Dragon Inventory: when 1:1 dragon inventory opens
  • looking at inner left hand now opens PAWN inventory
  • looking at outer player hand shows player health
  • added new tutorial level for inventory interactions
  • added more physical actions, when in 1:1 PAWN scale
  • general performance improvements


FIXES:

  • more fixes for level collisions
  • adjusted DUX wand positions: Vive Wands, Index, Touch Controllers
  • general performance improvements


PLANNED IMPROVEMENTS:

  • teleporting controls will be remapped in a future update with better UI tutorials
  • dragon controls will be adjusted for an even smoother experience
  • save system for levels will be implemented with upcoming levels
  • dragon petting with reactions - currently only collissions work with no animation response

  • new unified dragon controls

  • added simple tutorial hints
  • changed locomotion for DUX and PAWN characters
  • better dragon UI
  • added basic tutorial level and introductory levels for 2 dragons

  • new main menu
  • added full physical actions, when in 1:1 PAWN scale
  • added introduction levels for Dralth and Hiradolth
  • increased performance for low end hardware
  • added terrain backgrounds vistas to establish a better reference point when in DUX mode
