https://store.steampowered.com/app/973000/Die_Young_Prologue/

Get ready to slowly merge into Die Young's full story starting right from the roots!

Play as Nehir, a field agent of a well-known political party trying to deconstruct and eliminate Brother n.1, the leader of Island's community.

The Prologue covers her desperate attempt to reach the rendezvous point. Will she be able to save herself or will she die young?

Die Young: Prologue is an action-adventure with a more linear structure than the open-world of Die Young, but it leaves the player with the possibility of using different approaches and paths to escape.
The game consists of three levels: Introductory, Main, Final.
If players choose to explore these levels, they'll discover several useful items that'll unravel the deep lore behind Die Young.

We hope you enjoy this free prequel game!

Patch Notes 0.9: Hear me Rumble

Hello Tribesmen, and welcome back.

It has been a long time since our last update, as we shifted from a frequent, small update schedule to a longer, most substantial one. We are finally updating the game with all the aggregated changes, starting with a new UI, proper expanded settings, a complete rework of several buildings and game functions, one new and quite aggressive animal and, last but not least, a new colossal Titan.

The UI has been totally reworked, thanks to the special contribution of some new friends. Check them in the credits (there is such a thing now) while you’re browsing the new menu, complete with graphics settings and a new audio system. It has been a lot of work and we’re eager to hear your feedback about it on Discord.

Our artists worked hard on some new shaders, improving the lighting effects (this, apparently, is a neverending struggle) and changed the old meshes of some buildings, to further merge the art style with future releases. This came along with a complete rework of our weapons and the new ability to damage and repair buildings. From now on you’ll be able to do so using any mining tool for destructive purposes or repair your own using specialized Repair Hammers.

And then this bad boy is going to wait for challengers in the mountains depts:

Follow the tremors and explore the map to find the prison of the rock Titan and fight it for glory and loot. This massive god is even stronger and more dangerous than its Fire brethren and will require some preparation, good fighting skills and a nice arsenal of food and tools to bear.

Cripple it from a distance, beware his massive attacks and get ready to chip away his treasures to gain access to its precious Soul.

I’ll leave you for Christmas and wish you a happy new year, knowing that we’ve come a long way since we took charge of the game and rebooted it last year, and have an even tight schedule for the months to come. See you all in January with additional content and our plans for the future.

Until then,
good hunting and Godspeed.

Patch Notes 0.5.2: Autumn is coming

Hello Tribesmen, and welcome back.

August is gone, and the illusion of light and charm with it. Life can start anew in all it’s greyness and sweet, sweet despair.

While our programmers slowly baked in the Mediterranean sun, we gathered data and observed some nasty bugs that developed over time. In this update we fix several of them, addressing some odd and unintended consequence of massive resource exploitation.

As for our artists, they finished the buildings rework, addressing both performance and polish. UI and UX started serious production early this month and as part of that, we finalized some quality-of-life on workbenches and diegetic symbols. Hop into discord and help us by providing feedback with the new direction, as hopefully this time that will become Pretty Definitive(™).

See you in a few days with some roaring news. Until then,
good hunting and Godspeed.

UPDATED FEATURES
  • Updated all the buildings for the first two Ages of the game.
  • Animals no longer collide with the player, to avoid some nasty and unwanted consequences. Like plasma burns from orbital re-entry.

BUGFIXES
  • Fixed a bug that slowed down the player when moving diagonally. Third iteration, let’s hope for it to be the last.
  • Fixed a rare bug that stopped any and all sound in the game.
  • Fixed a resource bug that caused scarcity over long-ass periods of exploitation. Real life sucks, we don’t want any of that here.
