Hello fellow Dollcitizens!



Latest news from the InfiniVerse team about Doll City's progress. As you may know, we are a very small team: 2 developpers, a musician / sound designer and a story teller / translator. We want to bring you a quality experience, an amazing journey in a psychedelic cyberpunk universe. Devil being in the details, we are working hard to make this this game as complete and unique as possible. Enough talk for now, let's get to the point: where is Doll City Prologue heading to?

For the time being, you can play the first 10 levels either in roomscale or seated mode. Each mode brings a totally different gameplay and visual experience. We strongly encourage you to play them both, they will show you two sides to Doll City's story.

Main differences

Roomscale mode (Vive controllers / Oculus Touch)

- locomotion systems: dash or trackpad (trackpad mode can be switched between tactile/sliding or pressing on HTC Vive)
- synergy gameplay: you can control another character from a distance on some levels
- multitask robotic hands avatar (flashlight / gun / toolkit...)
- unique interactions

Seated mode (xbox compatible gamepad)

- left stick locomotion, you can switch to dash or teleport if you are prone to motion sickness
- you can make our virtual body appear / disappear according to your preferences and comfort
- aiming with your head
- 3rd person control on some levels (sidescroller mode, teleport still possible)
-eclairage frontale

For both modes

- ingame menu with video options (a Geforce 970 is recommended for minimum settings, a 1070 brings you a superior graphic quality)
- go back easily to the main menu
- during early access, the first 10 levels are unlocked from the start. However, we strongly recommend to play them by chronological order to fully assimilate gameplay mechanics

What's expected for 2018?

- lots of new sound FX, better ingame mixing and spatialization to bring a deeper immersion
- complete storytelling and definitive english translation
- new comic book pages
- 10 new levels full of surprises, both in roomscale and seated mode
- every known bug and glitch should be corrected after early access
- Steam achievements and trading cards
- Windows MR compatibility
- complete soundtrack available (around 20 original tunes)
- a VR soundtrack (a totally new and radical experience, scheduled for shortly after the final game's main release). We'll give you more details in a little while!
- a complete story: you will finally know the truth about Doll City's darkest secrets!
- a bonus mode with many surprises, presented as a free roaming sector of the city with many places to visit (movie theater, museum, information booths and hidden secrets...)

Minor update 2.03

Hello fellow dollcitizens,


Here is a new update to Doll City. There are major changes in the way locomotion is handled:

- Instead of using the menu to change locomotion modes, you can now do this directly ingame by quickly pressing the menu button on the left controller (quick switch mode).

- You can also switch the trackpad to tactile mode by choosing the option in the ingame menu.

Bug fixes and improvements:

Ingame Menu in roomscale mode

- Quick switch mode for locomotion

- Tactile trackpad option added

- Menu now shows which level you are playing


Level 9

- Added new SFX and music

- Increased difficulty

- Bots aiming got better

- Electric grids and bladed gears now cause damage

- If you die during the fight, a teleporter appears to transport you directly to the fight zone

Minor update 2.02

Hello fellow dollcitizens,

Here is an update focused mainly on user interface, menus and locomotion (we are considering integrating additional forms of locomotion in the future, such as tactile trackpad, teleportation with fade to black...)

What's new with this update?

Bug fixes and improvements:

- Falling mechanics (level 1 to 8 in roomscale mode). Beware: from now on, one foot above the void = falling!

- Reintegration of trackpad locomotion (level 1 to 10 roomscale mode) with handling of speed by sliding trackpad up and down)

- Menu has been fixed: selection in the menu doesn't create conflicts anymore

- Fixed block volumes that kept the player from moving in some parts while using trackpad locomotion

- Decrease of blinking effect

Added :
- Post process when shot
- A terminal regenerates health in level 9 (will be useful for the upcoming levels 😉)
-Graphics improved in level 4
- New gameplay mechanics in level 9
