Major update 2 - Oculus Touch support and more

Hello, fellow doll citizens!

We want to thank you for all your feedbacks. We haven't included all of your suggestions yet, but many have been taken in account with this update, and the other ones should be included in the next minor updates (see list at the end).

For this major update, we have included:

- The Oculus Touch support in roomscale is of course the big addition brought by this update. We know that you are a lot to have been waiting for it since a long time, and we want to thank you for your patience. We hope that you will have a lot of fun discovering Doll City in roomscale mode.

- New introductions in levels 1 and 3

- Correction of the roomscale menu on the return button on the graphics pannel

- Correction of the ingame menu for the trackpad locomotion speed

- Added: a switch to quickly choose between teleportation and trackpad
locomotion without the need to enter the menu to keep the game immersion. Teleportation is considered as one of the character's abilities, and sometimes you will have to switch to this locomotion mode to keep going.

(note: right now, the trackpad mode encounters conflicts in a few levels, and so it has been deactivated in those levels for the moment.)

- Minor bugs and some elements of the scenery have been fixed

- Correction of the fall during level 7 in roomscale mode

The next updates should include: (the elements are not sorted in any particular order)

- Correction of the selection problems in the in game menu
- Reactivation of the saving system
- Addition of new drugs
- Play/stop interactions with the music radios
- Sounds on every items with which the character can interact
- Trackpad locomotion fixed on every level
- We will progressively add the remaining levels
- Block volumes on every item
- Health regeneration system
- Integration of the scenario
- Deployment of the final sound design on every level
- Return of the defense turrets

Best,
Infiniverse team

Minor update 1.5

The 1.5 update contains:
-all the levels have been unlocked
-level 5: no more infinite falling that could happen at the end of the level
-level 6, 8 and 10: improved level streaming
-improved signalisation (arrows)

Thank you for your feedbacks! For the next major updates, our two priorities are reintegrating the saving system and adding support of the Oculus Touch.

New major update

Hello, fellow doll citizens!

Here is the first major update including new gameplay and levels both for gamepad and roomscale modes.

For now roomscale mode is only available for HTC Vive. But don't worry, Oculus Rift support should be relased soon, we're working on it.

What's new:

- 10 levels for gamepad mode, for HTC Vive and Oculus Rift
- 10 levels for Roomscale mode, for HTC Vive
- New gameplay for gamepad mode, with first person view and sidescroller third person view
- Several choices of locomotion: teleportation/dash/trackpad
- Items to pick up (access cards, boxes, hallucinogenic substances...)
- Advanced interactions with the environnment
- A unique trip, in a universe where blurring the lines between reality, mind trips and virtuality
- New design for the comic book events
- New sounds and music (a lot remains to be included yet)
- New ingame menu
- A way to switch graphics quality/supersampling

Though this isn't the final version, it allows the players to have a good preview of where Doll City is heading to: a game mixing exploration and immersion, with various gameplay phases.

The game immerses you in the story of a derelict megalopolis told through full-scale comic-book pages, with a soundtrack paying tribute to early 80s electronic music.

Welcome to this new update of Doll City, a one of a kind cyberpunk trip.

Doll City : news

Hello fellow Doll-Citizens!

First, we would like to apologize for the long silence, we missed you too! But no worries, we are still hard working on Doll City's development!

Many things happened during summer, one of the programmers left the team to work full-time on his own projects, leaving us with a lot of stuff to re-organize. The original team is now back on tracks, and we had to clean the project of every unfinished piece of code and come back to our original idea of what the game should be. Although it was very time-consuming, we are very happy with the results so far and it's a pleasure to find a better work atmosphere!

Before making this announcement, we wanted to make sure we could keep on our promises and deliver a good game, so here is what you should expect:

- A better, tighter and more intuitive gameplay
- More interactions with the environment
- More levels and music
- Better translations and user interface

This next update including the first 10 levels for both modes (seated 3rd person mode, and roomscale 1st person mode) to give you a better overview of what the game will be.

See you very soon!
