Major Updates
New Classic Game Mode: Giga Mercs
All mercenaries have +100% bonus damage and health and give 2x income, but also cost 2x as much mythium. Abilities are also scaled.

Mercenaries are also 50% chonkier in size.
Christmas Map Decorations & Skins!
A treacherous snow queen has cast a spell over the world of Legion, and it's all frozen over! But fear not...she's actually not treacherous. She just wanted everyone to get in the holiday spirit! On top of the snow-covered landscape, you'll find Christmas trees, presents, colored lights, snowmen, stockings, candy canes, and more goodies around the map. Enjoy the fresh look for Legion TD 2 while you eat Christmas cookies and hopefully spam some games over the holidays!

New Christmas Map: Both 2v2 & 4v4 maps packed with Christmas decor!
New Skin: Gentleman Ogre
New Skin: Red-Nosed Centaur

The snow queen promises to lift the "eternal" winter next patch, when Season 2024 starts. You can toggle decorations in Options if your PC is struggling to contain her power.
Floating Isles Campaign
In case you missed it, the long-awaited third singleplayer/co-op campaign, The Floating Isles, just recently launched!

Party as 1-4 players and challenge all new opponents: Reek-a-deek, Fabulous Freddy, Declan Stormhammer, Jill McDonald, Rex Ribbitor, chaoslord2468, and Drachia!

Game Balance
General
Chaos
- Income: +5 --> +4

As average end wave has increased and players have mastered Chaos, it has become the top performing mastermind, especially at higher ranks.

Full Eco Strategy ("Sui")
- If you are full-ecoing, you now receive 20% reduced income gold that wave

Our philosophy is that unorthodox strategies are good for the game in moderation. However, full eco is too strong and becoming too frequent, so we're nerfing it. To avoid this penalty, make sure you're trying to clear some of the wave.
Fighters
Nekomata
- Spirit Offering: Health gain per stack: 280 → 290

Low win rate.

Infiltrator
- Health: 720 → 710

Orchid
- Health: 2500 → 2460

High win rate.

Dwarven Banker
- Damage: 47 → 50
- Max mana: 10 → 8

Big Wig
- Damage: 138 → 146
- Max mana: 15 → 12

Nerfing the maximum upside on the Bankers’ gold generation, since it’s promoting unhealthy gameplay, but compensating with stat buffs.

Sea Serpent
- Health: 680 → 690

Deepcoiler
- Health: 2070 → 2110
- Attack speed: 0.806 → 0.82

Low win rate and pick rate.

Leviathan
- Damage: 68 → 71
- Bombardier: Damage: 85 → 90
- Aerial Command: Bonus damage: 18% → 16%

Aerial Command was a disproportionately powerful aura, so we’re shifting power budget out of it.

Treant
- Health: 960 → 950

Tree of Knowledge
- Health: 2280 → 2300

Shifting power from Treant to Tree of Knowledge. Overall nerf.

Lord of Death / Hades
- Intellect: Mana restore: 8% → 7%

Slightly high win rate and pick rate.
Mercenaries
Ghost Knight
- Damage: 185 → 187

Siege Ram
- Health: 5700 → 5750
- Damage: 294 → 295

Kraken
- Damage: 291 → 285

Shifting power from Kraken to Ghost Knight and Siege Ram.
Waves
Wave 18: Wale Chiefs
- Poison-Tipped Pole: Single-target damage: 240 → 260
- Poison-Tipped Pole: AOE damage: 30 → 25

Shifting power budget from AOE to single-target damage.
Balance Watchlist
The dev team is constantly monitoring game balance, between looking at data and listening to community feedback. If anything is being more closely monitored than usual, it will be listed in this Balance Watchlist section. For this patch, the following are on the watchlist:

Mid & late game workers

In some game states, it's not rewarding enough to push workers in the mid and late game. We're iterating on systemic changes to fix this, but to avoid shaking up the meta too much near the end of the season, it's best to wait until the Season 2024 patch in January.

Improvements & Fixes
Improvements
• Guild Donations: Donating the first card of a card type for your guild now gives 3x bonus contribution to the player (like it used to). However, a player is disqualified from the bonus if less than 33% of their total guild contribution is coming from their current guild. This discourages players from intentionally hopping from guild to guild to farm contribution, while still rewarding the vast majority of players who are loyal to a particular guild.
 • Sandbox: New UI buttons for playback up/down and start/clear wave (Screenshot)
 • Added new Interface Option: "Enable right-click to ping" option (default on) to allow players to disable right clicking to ping to reduce misclicks
 • Added new Interface Option: "Always send queued mercenaries immediately" option (default off) to allow players to send their queued mercenaries immediately when they can afford them, rather than waiting until the last possible moment (default).
 • Slightly improved MVP score formula
Fixes
• Fixed a bug on Wave 22+ where the light shafts didn't change color during build phase
 • Fixed a very rare bug where a guild's card donation progress could be wiped. If this bug occurred to you, please open a ticket at legiontd2.com/support

Hope everyone is ready for Christmas & New Years holidays! With this update, we are excited to bring back the Christmas map and get in some balance tweaks before the new season begins next year. We have some major gameplay content & improvements planned for next season, so stay tuned for those. :) In the meantime, we're confident in the Chaos nerf that had been in consideration for some months now.

Thank you again for playing Legion TD 2! We hope you continue to enjoy the game.
