[Notice] Proofreading Tool has added.

Hello, this is the Troubleshooter development team.

We have been receiving a lot of feedback about translation since the Early Access release of Troubleshooter. We were grateful for your support but at the same time, felt sorry and burdened for not being able to show you the best result.

With the full release coming on its way, we have added the [ Proofreading Tool ] to apply the feedback quicker than we can right now.

We don’t think this tool would solve all the issues of the translation. In the long term, Hiring a professional translator and proofreader will be an answer.

Nonetheless, we believe there could be a thing that we can do now and for that, we decided to add this tool. If anyone interested in translation, we’d appreciate it if you use this tool.

+ To use the Tool, you have to be connected to the internet.

+ How to use Proofreading Tool
Steam LIBRARY → HOME → right click Troubleshooter → Properties → Click [ SET LAUNCH OPTIONS ] on [ GENERAL ] → type [ --translation volunteer ] into the popup screen and click enter → Launch Troubleshooter

+ To stop using the Tool, delete [ --translation volunteer ] from the popup screen from [SET LAUNCH OPTIONS] and click enter.

1. If you have followed the above procedure, you would be seeing [ Support Translation ] on the bottom left corner of the game when there is a dialogue screen. Click it.

2. Then [ Translation List ] pops up. The screen would be looking like the following picture.

- 1. Search: Searches the game’s dictionary file (dic_keyword.dic, dic_text.dic). You can search all the words and sentences in the game. The system distinguishes the lower cases from the upper cases, so be sure to type in the exact word/sentence you wish to find. If you click the list of searched results, you can access the editing screen.

- 2. Dialogues: This menu shows dialogues you have passed by. You can click the dialogue you wish to edit. This will take you to the editing screen.

3. The editing screen is composed as follows.
- Reference: Currently selected sentence for translation suggestion. [ Translation ] is the translation. [ Original Text ] is the original Korean text.

- 1. New Translation: You write new translation here. After you typed in, you can click [ Submit ] to submit your suggestion.

- 2. Suggestion: For the selected dialogue, if there are suggestions for translation, they show up in this menu. You can always click a heart if you like their suggestions.

- 3. History: This menu shows dialogues which accepted suggestions and thus were edited.

- 4. Undo: Undo your suggestion for translation.

- 5. Back: Return to previous screen.

4. You can always return to your game by clicking the red x button on the upper right corner.

The submitted suggestions for translation will be applied to the game according to the number of approved (that means with the most heart signs) on the nearest regular update. With that being said, the date of application of translation suggestion can vary according to the update schedules.
We wish this helps at least a little to those who are willing to give translation feedback. We are looking forward to your participation.

Thank you.
