This hotfix includes the following:
• Fixed resisting or fleeing suspects becoming 'stuck' after the K-9 detects narcotics
• Fixed suspects becoming invincible under certain conditions
• Fixed the player being ejected from the car without any input

Thank you so much to all of the players who reported these bugs and helped us to resolve them!

The K-9 Update is OUT NOW!
“You must treat our four-legged friends with the same respect you’d afford to any fellow officer” - The Chief

We’re excited to announce that our long-awaited K-9 Update is officially OUT NOW!
The new K-9 system lets officers deploy a fully trained working dog from the precinct kennels. Your partner can be washed, fed and customized there — breed, harness, collars and more — before heading out on patrol. The dog will obey commands, ranging from subduing dangerous attackers, pursuing fleeing suspects, or sniffing out concealed narcotics.

A new callout tasks your K-9 with tracking a wanted suspect using a recovered scrap of clothing. If you're on duty without a dog, you can summon a K-9 unit as backup via your radio. A purpose-built Station Wagon variant offers dedicated transport, though the dog will readily ride shotgun in any patrol car!

Alongside the new K-9 system, we’ve added the following quality of life changes to this update:
• Added an XP penalty for putting a suspect on tracks for a train collision
• Added collisions to the Longmile Bridge to prevent helicopter clipping issues
• Drivers now leave overturned vehicles more quickly
• Boosted traffic light effects to make them more noticeable
• Added an unmarked livery for Police Pickup Truck.
• Added an unmarked livery for Police Buzzard.
• Dispatch can now request backup from the player to support other officers.
• Suspects can now hide in portable toilets.
• Additional ranks added with new unlocks (Ranks PO26-PO30).
• Civilians can now carry briefcases and handbags.

And the following bug fixes:
• Fixed a softlock in one of the missions when all gang members are force-restrained
• Fixed VintageLightbar “Coffee Cans” not being illuminated in specific configurations
• Fixed a wrong pop-up appearing when requesting a tow
• Fixed the missing ammo marker on police pickup truck vehicles
• Fixed the upper arm overlapping with the body when using the flashlight
• Fixed missing interaction prompts for suspects in the subway during some callouts
• Fix for Timed Breath UI meter movement not matching the size of the bar in different resolutions
• Fixed suspects fleeing when cuffed in some situations
• Fixed cars/junk floating in the air when using the crane
• Fixed camera getting stuck when opening a customisation menu with suspects in the car
• Fixed sometimes getting a penalty for suspect fleeing when interacting with them
• Fixed an issue with helicopter support sometimes focusing on a suspect after an arrest
• Fixed dialogue cutscene not playing when selecting a non-gang member shift, then starting the gang member mission by talking to detectives
We’d like to say a huge thank you to all ACPD officers for your continued support. Without you, none of this would be possible!

If you do experience any bugs or have any feedback about this update, please let us in the Steam Forums or in our Discord.
