First screenshots of Bus Line 277 on the Hamburg City map for The Bus

[p]After the recently released update with the free route extension of Line 7, attention now turns to the next expansion of the Hamburg City map: Hamburg bus line 277.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p] This line will also be released as a free update for all owners of the Hamburg City DLC for The Bus.[/p][p][/p][p]Both the new Line 7 and the upcoming Line 277 start at Barmbek station and initially head towards Steilshoop. At the intersection of Steilshooper Straße / Steilshooper Allee, the routes split: while Line 7 turns east, Line 277 continues west.[/p][p]On the northern side, the distinctive high-rise housing estate continues to shape the cityscape, while numerous commercial properties line the main road, including a gas station, car workshops, and warehouses.[/p][p][/p][p] [/p][p]From there, the bus turns into Alfred-Mahlau-Weg, exits the roundabout at the last exit, and continues into Gründgensstraße.[/p][p]After a short distance, another roundabout leads Line 277 into Ruwoldtweg, where the bus passes through a classic industrial area with storage facilities, workshops, and fast-food locations.[/p][p][/p][p] [/p][p]At the end of Ruwoldtweg, the route continues into Eichenlohweg, home to a large Famila supermarket with a spacious parking area.
Great attention has been paid to details here as well, including shopping cart collection points, market stalls, and food stands that blend naturally into the environment.[/p][p][/p][p] [/p][p]Eichenlohweg then merges back into Gründgensstraße. From there, the route follows the same path back to Steilshooper Allee and continues as usual towards Barmbek.[/p][p]We captured the first screenshots from this area and hope you enjoy taking a look.[/p][p][/p][p]For everyone who doesn’t yet own the Hamburg City DLC or even The Bus itself:

The series is designed to highlight the game in its many facets and guide you step by step through interesting parts of the current in-game experience.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p]
What is Spotlight?
[p]Spotlight is an ongoing format without numbering. Each entry comes with a concise title and stands on its own. That way, you can jump in at any time without needing to read previous posts.[/p][p][/p]
What can you expect?
[p]In Spotlight, we’ll regularly explore different aspects of The Bus. Sometimes we’ll cover familiar elements, sometimes smaller details that can easily get overlooked in everyday driving. The focus is on content that shapes your experience in the game and may offer you a fresh perspective on familiar routes, situations, and routines.[/p][p][/p]
Starting point: Berlin-Tegel Airport
[p]For our first Spotlight, we’re heading to a location that many Berlin fans closely associate with The Bus: Berlin-Tegel Airport.[/p][p][/p][carousel][/carousel][p][/p][p]In The Bus, Tegel is a distinctive landmark and a key part of the Berlin driving experience. The area around the airport creates a clear sense of arrival and departure and offers a unique atmosphere that feels noticeably different from many inner-city sections.[/p][p][/p][carousel][/carousel][p][/p][p]Tegel plays an important role on the TXL in particular. The combination of urban segments and the airport as a destination gives the route its own character and makes this location a fitting start for the new format.[/p][p][/p]
Your feedback
[p]Spotlight is also intended to be shaped by your interests. If you have topics you’d like to see, feel free to share them in the comments. Which parts of The Bus should we bring into focus next?[/p]
