El Presidente moves New Year’s Eve to his birthday!

El Presidente moves New Year’s Eve to his birthday!

The Tropican Ministry of Misinformation - delivered with the usual flair by the ever-loyal Penultimo - has announced that our glorious leader El Prez has passed an edict officially making New Year's Eve land on El Presidente's birthday, effective immediately.

Since El Presidente’s birthday is the most important day in Tropico (and, let’s face it, the entire world) anyway, he figured it was about time the calendar caught up with reality.

He would also like to clarify that Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro, who recently decreed to move Christmas to October 1st (see here), was NOT the originator of the idea of modernizing the calendar. In fact, Maduro was inspired by unparalleled trendsetter, El Presidente, who, in his infinite generosity, graciously shared his plans with his fellow dicta-nation leaders so they could align their calendars accordingly.

A Tropican Revo-Llama-Lution

A Tropican Revo-Llama-Lution

Reports of secret Llama meetings across Tropico have recently started to gain traction, and Tropico’s most expendable competent *cough* detective has been appointed to the case!
Penultimo, worried that the local fluffy wool population may be plotting the demise of our beloved El Presidente, has spent a week disguised as a Llama infiltrating the circle of the conspirators.
Pictured: Highly suspicious llama activity.

After thorough investigation, it appears they are working on a secret project called "BananaLlama 6.9", for which they have been stealing GPU’s all across Tropico.
"BananaLlama 6.9" would apparently be freely shared with Llamas from all over the world in order to realise their plans for an eventual world domination.
Penultimo will report back (and then be freed from his Llama-life….maybe) once he has finished assessing the threat, but so far, it seems like the stolen GPU’s are SO bad that the fluffy takeover will have to stick to Llama 1.0.
