Disclaimer: there are currently a lot of elements in the game that should only be seen by the developers.

For example, the “Select starting point” menu or the boundaries of triggers on the location.
Also, while we are carrying out optimization, all car traffic consists of one car model. Soon we will show the game the way you will see it in early access.

The release of the City Car Driving 2.0 has been moved to September 2024



It is already obvious to us that we have developed the basic gaming environment, but did not have time to fill it with content. At the moment, we are adding various missions and challenges so that, even in early access, the game differs from the first CCD. And so that, due to changes in the game formula, it does not feel like a “step back.” Also, mechanics related to the transport ecosystem require polishing. They are all connected with the economy, and we want to make them simple but good. They are fully functional, however, the economic factor in the game requires tying everything into a single fabric.

Developers diaries #19

Hi! We remember our promise to show you a selection of bugs, but we think we’d rather show these after we share some gameplay videos. And while we are preparing the new layout of our Developers Diaries, we’d like to discuss the details from the previous diaries where we’ve mentioned something like “We’ll tell you later”.

Let’s start with the main component of CCD, that is, Traffic Rules Control. We’ve already covered this in Diaries #4 and #12.

Developers diaries #18

We will keep on publishing our logs as before and, until the release of the game, new logs will be delivered to you every two weeks.

We will be talking about one of the most unobvious elements of the game – the balance of the car simulator. If we sum up the log, it will sound like this, “How you can make an interesting game from many loosely connected elements based on a traffic rule simulator.”
