GTFO Rundown 004/Contact gets EXTENDED, adding four new expeditions!

The Warden has discovered an unexplored section of The Complex - and so, the Rundown 004 / Contact has been extended to include four new deadly expeditions, now called Rundown 004 / Contact://EXTENDED. Will you, the prisoners, survive in the darkness?

Update your GTFO installation and the new expeditions will be added to the current Rundown.

And we're still celebrating GTFO being one year in Early Access - and its 96% positive rating here on Steam - with 20% off. If there ever is a good time to become imprisoned in the Complex, it's now: with the newly added expeditions, Rundown 004 / Contact://EXTEND has a total of 12 expeditions.

So, Prisoners, get on that elevator and follow The Warden's objectives! Good luck.

Happy birthday, GTFO! One year in Early Access!

December 9th, 2019, we released GTFO as Early Access. Since then, a lot has happened.

 • We've released three Rundowns: Infection, The Vessel, and the latest, Contact– which also introduced match-making to the game! Bringing it to a total of 25 expeditions you've been able to enjoy after the release – on top of the expeditions included in the release Rundown. Our eternal respect if you've been with us since day one and finished all of them.

 • Even before we released GTFO, we had an amazing and supportive community. And it's been growing fast since release! We're now close to 210 000 (!) members on our official Discord. We believe we have the best and friendliest game community in the world. Thanks for your support!

 • 96%!! Since adding match-making in our latest Rundown, our recent review score on Steam is now up at 96%. Thanks for all your kind reviews and valuable feedback! You're helping us make GTFO better. Oh, and right now, to celebrate, GTFO is 20% off!

 • What more has happened? A lot of failing. Deaths, but also revives and fantastic teamwork. Together with your squad, you've learned to master the Complex and beaten (very) challenging expeditions. Some would say impossible. We're impressed, Prisoners!

And before you close down this message, someone wants to show you some of the data they've collected during the last year – check the video above...

Nominate GTFO as The Best Game You Suck At
GTFO is The Best Game You Suck(ed) At
We were browsing through the different categories for The Steam Awards, and we found (among others) two very fitting for GTFO: Better With Friends, and The Best Game You Suck At.

Then we looked at the descriptions of each of them:
"Better With Friends" - There are some games out there that just aren't the same when you play by yourself. Maybe you need to have a friend to watch your back. Maybe you need to have a friend that you can stab in their back. Either way, mirth is awaiting those who gather friends to play these games.

"Best Game You Suck At" - This is the game that rewards persistence, and is not for the faint of heart. It's the toughest game we've ever loved.

Okay, we all know that GTFO is indeed Better With Friends - we’d even say it’s impossible without friends (well, if your name isn’t RandomKenny) - and with the recently added match-making function, you can hopefully make new friends, too.

But the description for Best Game You Suck At seems like it was written for GTFO, right? If you don’t agree with us, you’re free to choose any category you deem fit. We will love you anyway. Thanks for your support!
We’re 20% off, tell your friends!
GTFO will be a part of The Steam Autumn Sale, starting about… now. So, if you know any friends that can handle The Complex, let them know. Tip: GTFO is the perfect (early) Christmas gift, during these quarantine times.
GTFO turns 1 year old on December 9th
Our Early Access baby is growing. Four Rundowns later, and she’s already 1 year old. To celebrate, we’re cooking some stuff for our beloved community.

Stay tuned, keep distance, and clean your hands regularly.
