Monthly sitrep - April 2019



Hey guys,

Welcome to our tenth sitrep!

In this sitrep we’ll show you a glimpse of what’s coming in our v1.6 Pretty Update. We’ll be teasing some of our updated maps and equipment and will showcase some recent videos from the community.

Hotfix v1.5.8

Gun Game will go live again starting Friday at midnight, Pacific Daylight Time (and will be available for 10 days in this rotation).
Gun Game gun progression has been adjusted for more variety and a better power curve, starting with powerful weapons, and progressing to weaker and harder to use weapons.
Tasers were not triggering many game logic things, like ending the round if the last person was tasered, awarding kills when that person gives up, or triggering team-downs properly. This is fixed.
Fix the confirm loadout button locking up if you tried to load a loadout that contained the Five Seven pistol.
Clicking the exit to tent button no longer gives a team-kill to the last ally that damaged you.
The last player that damaged you is no longer given credit for a kill if you were healed from a downed state since he damaged you.
Fix people spawning under the terrain when spawning on the fireteam leader in Uplink Assault on Snowpeak when he is near the ice lake.
Fix lobbies freezing if the host leaves during a map vote.
Fix an exception that could occur when ejecting a magazine.
Fix an exception that could occur when setting up the next round in a map.

Hotfix v1.5.7

The red skull indications of the players you have killed on the scoreboard now reset when you spawn, rather than when the round ends, so you actually get a chance to see them.
The server browser will now flash the player count in red if you attempt to join a full server.
The server browser now hides the previous button if there is only one page of servers.
The ESL ruleset is now an in game option instead of a launch parameter.
Add an additional five seconds of visibility for the Karma UI when a teammate commits an infraction against you. The game will fade to the tent as normal after these five seconds, upon making a choice, or upon the round ending.
Improved all of the pistol hand poses to look more natural.
Rescaled the stun gun.
Fix chance of observers not properly switching to the next map.
Added some more exploit blockers on Snowpeak.
