A warp in the space time continuum has unleashed the past once again! Look hard enough and you may find prehistoric Retro Monsters roaming the lands of Zezenia. These ancient creatures drop a little bit of extra experience for a holiday bonus!

That's not all: a mysterious Time Portal to a bygone era has appeared in the Ellarian graveyard! For a million gold fee, you can race against the clock inside the portal to secure some of the rarest loot for a limited time only. Will you take a gamble with the chances?

The Time Warp is appropriate for players level 30+. One player may enter the Time Warp dungeon for 10 minutes at a time.

The Halloween Dungeon is open to brave adventurers looking to confront the seasonal boss Screwou. Will you be lucky enough to loot the Halloween Equipment pieces? Complete the dungeon 5 times for the Halloween achievement and 20 times to unlock the newly added Pumpkinhead Headpiece usable on many classic outfits!

What is a Seasonal Server? Seasonal Servers are on for a temporary amount of time. Race your way to the top of the high scores or grind for seasonal rewards & points in a fast paced speed rate world. You can continue playing on permanent worlds afterwards with some restrictions.

The Zezenia Online 2025 Classes Update has been released! Steam users may need to restart the Steam app to trigger the update.

Zezenia has come a long way since the time Windows XP was the latest and greatest and 4:3 monitors were common. It's time to experience Zezenia from a new point of view with the Widescreen Update, which stretches the game area to a more immersive aspect ratio!

[h2]Minimap Icons Update[/h2]

The ingame World Map has received a vibrant update with revised minimap icons that fill in previously missing areas and introduce new types of markers. Enjoy enhanced visibility with higher contrast icons and make use of a wide selection of new icons, making your navigation easier than ever!

[h2]Character Builder[/h2]

Explore the vast array of outfits, hairpieces, beards, and accessories available in the updated Character Builder! It has been never easier to make your character truly your own.



[h2]Party & Hunt Analyzers[/h2]

Take your hunts to a more scientific level with the newly added Hunt & Party Analyzers! Whether you are hunting by yourself or in a party, the analyzers calculate your profits in a hunt automatically. Data for each session can also be copied to the clipboard in a standard format for further processing.


[h2]Balance Changes[/h2]

This update marks the beginning of a new balance in Zezenia Online. The changes made are based on feedback solicited through private Focus Group and public community feedback. Our aim has been to buff classes that need it the most while addressing late game power creep for long term longevity of the game. While most changes add to the game, we believe that some nerfs must be made.

Health Steal & Dodge Formula Updates
- Health Steal has been updated to cap excessive, balance breaking amounts of health steal. The updated calculation is based on the damage accumulated across all tiles and the player's total health, ensuring that a single combination can no longer fully heal a player.
- Dodge has been updated to cap excessive amounts. The new calculation is based on the player's Defending skill and Dodge from stats.

However, this is not the end but merely the beginning of a new Class Balance. By considering all the collected feedback we will be able to define the unique future of each subclass to come. By working on the foundation set today we can get back to delivering regular updates and new experiences to you.

[h2]Shaman's Beast Call[/h2]

Shaman's Beast Call spell ascends to a new level with the Summon Tank, a fierce beast to aid the party in battle. The tank charges targeted foes with melee and spell attacks, healing the party at a constant rate. Each summon lasts for 35 seconds, after which it casts a damage over time curse on nearby enemies.

The staff would like to thank all participants who took part in the Beast Call Name Contest. After a meticulous process of validation, evaluation and elimination to disqualify duplicate and inappropriate entries the fair winners have been selected! We are happy to introduce the Beast Call summon Varnok.



The Emerald Watcher. A mutated creature from the Forests of Xavark, born from ancient magic and a primal beast spirit. His glowing green eyes see the flow of mana, and he guards forgotten portals with unstoppable rage.

The winning entry was submitted by Brota Apelao! The #2 Runner Up is Fattallity with the name Galean and Claws with the name Khur'jin. Congratulations to all winners! They can find their special winner's presents in their depot shortly.

[h2]Class Updates[/h2]

Mage Shaman

- Burst of Speed has had its cooldown reduced to three minutes from five minutes.
- Hailstorm no longer slows down the Shaman or their party.
- Mortal Melody area has been increased to a larger size.
- Bonus +5 Talent Points have been moved from Spirituality to Healing in the talent tree.

Ranger
The physical armor piercing damage of a ranger's arrows against warriors has been buffed. In the new formula a higher level and distance skill increases the amount of damage inflicted.

Marksman

- Arrow Volley has been upgraded to a targeted spell with a secondary area of effect on nearby monsters. It no longer paralyzes targets.
- Spread Shot's damage has been buffed by 20%, and it now has a 50% chance of paralyzing players and monsters. Paralyzed creatures have a visible indicator of their slowed down status.
- The drunken effect of (Strong) Bewilderment now applies to click walking, eliminating a flaw in the previous version of the spell. The duration of bewilderment has been reduced to 20 and 6 seconds respectively due to the newfound strength of the effect.
- Added a +33% distance skill bonus to Critical Continuum with Focus talent selected.
- Piercing Shot now fires an arrow on the target in addition to the current direction. Added a visible indicator to debuffed monsters.

Rogue

- Traps no longer slow down the Rogue or their party. Ice Traps now deal the same amount of damage with only a slight reduction in the edges.
- Barbed Arrow now properly hits players standing on barrels.
- Short Escape now lasts 15 seconds with a cooldown of three minutes.
- Clarified description of Belligerent Focus.

Warrior Paladin

- Cleave is buffed to inflict the same damage across all tiles.
- Shield Slam now has a chance of stunning a monster for five seconds, disabling them from attacks and casting spells.
- Holy Sword's cooldown has been reduced to 10 seconds.

All Classes

- Each Defending skill level contributes 0.1% Physical Resistance.
- Each 10 Magic Levels contribute 0.5% Magic Resistance.

From the celestial tapestry, where starlight dances with the shadows of forgotten realms, a decree descends upon the blighted lands of Zezenia. Aezzenia, the Veiled Goddess, She who cradles creation in one hand and unleashes destruction with the other, has sown a seed of profound consequence. In the heart of the encroaching corruption, an egg of iridescent chaos now rests, pulsating with an energy that whispers of both ending and rebirth.

This is no ordinary bloom of spring. Within its shell slumbers a harbinger of change, a mutant Easter Hare whose awakening will test the very mettle of humankind. Its fur shimmers with volatile magic, its eyes gleam with untamed power, and its every twitch promises a
cataclysmic upheaval. This creature is the Gauntlet of Aezzenia, the living embodiment of her judgment. Only by overcoming this formidable foe can the mortals of Zezenia prove their worthiness to inherit the dawn of a new age.

But hope, as ever, flickers in the encroaching darkness. Long ago, in an age now relegated to myth, Aezzenia sculpted a race of beings from the very essence of springtime: the Leporidae Mystica. Wise and attuned to the subtle energies of the world, these humanoid
rabbit folk hold the ancient secrets to wielding Aezzenia's power. Their high chieftains, dwelling in secluded enclaves touched by the fading grace of the goddess, await those brave enough to seek their counsel.

Across the ravaged landscapes, fragments of forgotten magic lie scattered - shards of crystallized moonlight, petals imbued with elemental force, and the solidified tears of ancient spirits. Gather these arcane relics, heroes of Zezenia, and undertake perilous pilgrimages to the hidden settlements of the Leporidae Mystica. Present these treasures to their venerable leaders, and they, in their ancient wisdom, will forge weapons of unparalleled might - the only instruments capable of piercing the chaotic hide of the mutant Easter Hare.

The fate of Zezenia hangs in the balance. Will you rise to meet Aezzenia's challenge? Will you forge the weapons of salvation and confront the chaotic beast that threatens to unravel existence? Aezzenia's forgotten relics have been scattered all around the world. Look for the gatherable artifacts on your hunts and right click to collect them. A large arsenal of artifacts and proper teamwork will be required to defeat the Mutant Easter Hare.

Later this week an event NPC will let you craft special Easter Weapons and collectibles from gathered artifacts. More artifacts will also surface on, above and under the ground every minute as the event goes on!



The mutated egg will hatch on Sunday April 27th! Invulnerable to damage from everything but Aezzenia's special weapons, enough fragments must be collected to defeat Mutated Easter Hare. Those who participate will receive exclusive event drops and possibly even rares! To give all players a chance to experience the event the egg will hatch multiple times during the final day.

The wheat fields of Seggmill are threatened by Giant Easter Chicks once again. Don't let the harvest be ruined by eliminating the chick raids. Dropped easter eggs give a small skill and/or experience bonus when consumed.
