Season 2 'Nemesis' - 2 Days
Faction Change & Improvement
One of the core focus of Season 2 is about making all units, technology and division relevant. We took a look at some of the overused and underused unit and gave it a fresh change.
Much of these changes involve adding and enhancing abilities of unit. We wanted to balance the choice of the game by adding to the weak instead of taking from the strong.

Let's take a look at the changes.

Here are some of the it :
Elite Marine Equipment
In season 2, we're revamping the randomized equipment of Elite Marine. Giving more control to GSF commanders, the weapon choice is now an upgrade choice. Elite marines will now start with the light machinegun but will have the choice to replace it's weapon to ATR or Grenade Launcher.
Iron Guard Knight
Next we take a look at the Knight variant of the IronGuard. In season 2, they now have improved speed and can sprint when not in combat. Additionally , the protocol upgrades have been merged for Rooks and Knights and do not require a separate upgrade. This means upon unlocking Robotics computing unit, the knight variant is immediately available.

Laser knights on the other hand receive a special Overload ability. This ability allow them to continuously fire their weapon without reloading at the cost of moderate damage over the duration of the overload.
Ocular Bombardment
The Ocular Defense (Turret) now gain access to an upgrade, which allow the turret to fire light artillery at target location. This requires the Energy Division commander to be at tier 3.
Vehicle's Ability
Most of the vehicle's ability has now been revamped. Sigma charged shot can now fire at obstacle and deal a heavy splash behind it. This shot is powerful enough to instantly kill marines and regular light infantry behind obstacles. One additional note here on Sigma is that, the regular weapon will now cut through APS. This is applicable to all type of railgun-type weapon, which affects Sigma and Guardian troopers.

Sigma Ocular's charged shot now summons a singularity charge at a target, exploding into a violent blast, damaging all types of units in a target area including structures and vehicles.

All GSF's vehicle now received reserved munition upgrade. IFV and APC has a temporary armor-piercing rounds. M34 Hellspawn has super napalm strike. MLRS will not automatically receive EMP warhead ability when reserved munition is upgraded.
Recon Grenade
Let's take a look at the Recon grenade. This grenade that is available to both faction will scan and mark unit in it's effective range until the grenade expires. It's a useful addition since players no longer highlight enemy silhouette behind walls.
Starting Unit
One significant change to early opening strategies is that, free units will now spawn at a starting barracks and fabricator the first time they are built. GSF Barracks receive 10 marines while fabricator receives 2 ironguard. This will reward players who go barracks first while punish greedy commanders that skip barracks to focus entirely on economy.

These are only a handful of improvement and changes coming in Season 2 'Nemesis'. Catch the full changelog when the update is launched.
