SCUM - Another hotfix 0.2.46.15471 SCUM Comic #17



Greetings everyone and Happy Friday. Our Hotfix gun is not empty yet so here we go firing another one:



  • Fixed a bug where bases would randomly disappear.

  • Potential fix for a bug where a player wouldn't be able to connect to the servers.

  • Tweaked the HP and damage model on some base building elements.

  • Fixed floating foliage on castle.

  • Fixed a bug on interaction with bushes.

  • Potential fix for server crashes.

  • Removed the ability to build blueprints inside enemy Flag zones.



WIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


In order to implement these fixes effectively a full wipe is needed. Also during these issues a lot of players were affected with losses of items so we are leveling the field.

Hello everyone, happy Wednesday!

We know you are waiting for a new update to fix the issues that affected so many. We are working hard on rolling the fix and the plan is to release it this week so thank you for your patience. Until then we have a new Community Showcase & Q&A to entertain you so hope you enjoy it.

No standard format of Q&A this time as most comments are related to these same questions.We are aware of the issues everyone thank you for taking time to report them and your patience. We are working hard to fix this issue and have made progress and managed to get a repro but not a stable one. Everyone is working hard on this even our sound guy and 3D artists are currently part of the QA team. This is where you guys come in. We would ask the whole community to help out this time. Any information you might have about this issue, any fixes you have, issues you encountered literally any information now matter how insignificant you think it is, is more than welcome. Feel free to spam it to us either on general forums or directly towards any dev you find online on discord at that time.

SCUM - Hotfix for a hotfix 0.2.46.15446 SCUM Comic #16



Yes, we all know what we did yesterday, and we're very sorry, so here we are trying to fix the issues. :)

Regarding yesterday's chaos, the patch that we deployed had issues with the base build system and in return it caused corrupted databases, so we had to revert to the older game version. This hotfix contains everything from the last one, plus some extras we added, and the fix for the issue that caused the problem. If you notice that items/base build elements/vehicles are gone, we are also sorry for that, but we aren't able to restore your lost assets. Unfortunately, such is life in early access.



  • Fixed the bug where you could see chests through cabin doors.

  • Fixed the bug where the flag area indicator would rotate with the flag.

  • Fixed the bug where items in chests disappeared on double click if inventory is full.

SCUM - Status update 2

Hey guys we managed to revert everything to the 17:38 database. So everything after that is deleted. Huge thanks to Gportal for helping us as fast as possible to fix the issues. Thank you for your patience, and again we apologize for the inconvenience.

Hey guys we just want to address the situation. Our latest patch caused issues with the database. We are restoring it as we speak to a few hours older database. This was not Gportals fault,
but 100% from our side, and they are helping us right now to get things back rolling!
