For Christmas would you please leave a review for Woolley - pretty please? :)
Since releasing Woolley Mountain over four years ago, we've seen very lucky to get lots of fans and love for our very first commercial game. But, we really haven't had very many reviews! and we need more, and here's a breakdown of why...
Did you know...
...most new players come through suggestions made by Steam within their own platform? Steam's algorithm takes the number of reviews to dictate how often (and how prominently) each game is shown to new potential players as they browse and play.
...the first algorithm milestone is 10 reviews.
This is Steam's way of making sure that a game isn't a total stinker.
...next is at 50-reviews.
This is where a game can earn its Very Positive rating, depending on the positivity of the reviews.
...the next milestone is a massive 500 reviews!
If we were to reach this it would give Woolley an Overwhelmingly Positive rating and a top spot in the Steam algorithm. We're a long way off, but every single review is included and increases our chances of being seen by new point & click fans.
