From 25th-29th March, grab a friend and introduce to the world of For The King for free via Remote Play Together. Steam friends can invite each other to play via streaming, with only the host required to own the game.

Simply jump into local multiplayer, grab a link to your game from the Friends list, send it to anyone however you like, and you'll be playing together in no time.

Adventurers!

It's been more than a month since the Lost Civilization Adventure was launched, and we welcomed brutal arena fights into our hearts. We want to thank you for your ongoing support!

Since then, we've released a flurry of updates to smooth your path to imminent doom victory, so we thought we'd summarize some of the major changes below.


[h3]KEY UPDATES[/h3]
We've made some balancing adjustments to the way disease spreads, group life drain and the friendly neighborhood Golems. Those loveable hulks are probably just misunderstood.



Some of the most reported issues we've addressed:

• The Dark Carnival is open for business and, you know, instant death
  
• Enemies in multiplayer are back in sync
  
• Royal Chests can be identified by their shiny royalness, so save those identify scrolls!
  
• You shouldn't get stuck in the Forgotten Cellar, Water Temple, or a city, unless of course there's a decent tavern on site
  
• Encounters no longer spawn in the same hex
  
• The Sally Forth achievement has been repaired
  
• Ports don't go missing any more
  
• And we've found the Armory keys… for now…
  

We've also fixed some backwards compatibility issues with save files, which caused the game to get stuck on "Crafting Adventure". There may still be some rare instances where this will occur, so the best course of action is to start a fresh save and take advantage of all the new updates.

You can still pick up the Queensguard Armor before you set out - simply join us on our Discord server. Click on the "queensguard-armor" channel, and react to the post to get a key for the redeemable in game.

Our Discord is a fantastic place to get up to speed on all things For The King - as well as find fellow adventurers to join you on your journey.


[h3]JUNGLE LIFE GETTING THE BETTER OF YOU?[/h3]
Don't forget you can adjust the House Rules like Chaos frequency and Life Pool, and perhaps turn the tables in your favor. RNGesus is also accepting hopes and prayers.

The jungle drums are sounding in the distance… will you heed the call?

- Fixes issue where some players could not end turn, or progress, this was due to invalid placements on hexes like Poison, or Cursed
- Fixed an issue where entering Parid would result in a failure loop that constantly assigned a quest for the Kings Maze

Also, in the previous patch notes: I forgot to mention that the Sally Forth achievement has been reconnected as well.

- Fixes issues with placement of objects in the adventures
- Some encounters/quests were placed on inaccessible hexes - this has been addressed. In addition: if you have a save game with some quest destinations located in a forest, or un-walkable hex: this will correct those save games upon load
- This patch has an added benefit of making generating the adventures themselves faster, as we re-factored some logic there

Sorry to say that for those who encountered the bug where the cult device, and the cult battle in the For The King Adventure spawned in the same place: we could not correct your save game. You will need to create a new one.
