Operation: New Earth News

Greetings, Commanders! The New Earth Team have been hard at work to bring some new features to the game! Here are the changes that come with game update 8.0:

Patch Notes - Update 8.0

• The Engineering Bay, Turrets, Satellite Uplink and Situation Room have had their maximum level increased from 25 to 28.
  
• New Global Challenges have been added to the game, in these challenges you compete against players of all regions for massive rewards in the following: Gain Power, Train Units, Defeat Invaders, Gain Hero XP, Gain Resources.
  
• The Mega Challenge now has a unique icon.
  
• As a Region ages, low-level resource nodes will stop respawning and higher-level nodes will start taking their place.
  
• Alliance requests are now sorted by newest displaying first.
  
• Added a confirm to the Teleport prompt.
  
• The level 8 Alien now shares it’s graphic with level 9.
  
• Improved the Hero Army Panel layout.
  
• New players will now receive invites from open Alliances with space if they share a common language.
  
• Rally creation panel, when targeting deployments, the panel shows information about the deployment is on instead of details of the sector.
  
• If you win Chips from the Gambling Den they are automatically added to your balance.
  
• Improved interaction with the chatbox.
  
• Fixed a problem when players would sometimes not correctly receive Casino Chips without a client restart.
  
• Fixed a bug where the recommended mission was not sliding out.
  
• Fixed a bug where some deployments would sometimes not send, because of a deployment capacity rounding error.
  
• Fixed a bug with Scavenger artwork not being the correct style.
  
• Fixed a bug where Hero displayed In Facility when he was deployed.

Attention Commanders of New Earth, we've detected a swarm of UFOs entering the atmosphere. Dropships are being shot down across every region right now!

We should be able to rescue any surviving troops if we can reach the Downed Dropship sectors in time.

Attention, Commanders! Flying Saucers have been detected entering New Earth's atmosphere. These UFO Invaders will provide Alien crafting components if your Hero can defeat them. Do not delay Commander, rally and defend New Earth from these hostile invaders!

Flying Saucers will be available in every region until 7AM (UTC) on Monday June 1st. Have an awesome weekend and stay safe!

Survivors are Scavenging all across New Earth this weekend! These Scavengers spawn on Scavenging Activity Sectors and defeating them can liberate both Attack Rovers and Rocket Fuel to improve your facilities offensive strength!

Scavenging Activity sectors will be spawning all over New Earth until Monday 25th May at 1PM (UTC). Good luck & have a great weekend, Commanders!

Attention, Commanders! Our scouts have reported a network of Covert Testing Stations have been discovered across all regions. These stations, guarded by deadly elite Black Ops Troops, contain blueprints which will be needed to construct and upgrade your Hero Armory!
