Kaleb, look at her.

The intelligence one could see in her eyes has been replaced with rage.

The Skycrag Six is no more. Krogar is dead, and Sashenka is enthralled under The Hermit’s magic. But those that remain still have a job to do. With heavy hearts, they split up and traveled to Thera’s major settlements, hoping to persuade the people to unify against the growing strength of The Hermit and his monstrous army of beasts and cultists.

The resistance begins on Wednesday, June 5th when the Separate Ways bundle brings 25 new cards to Eternal!

How it Works: Open card packs and play in a month-long League, using all the cards you open! The event costs 12,500 gold or 1,100 gems to enter.

Busy on week one? Catching up is no problem. You’ll get the packs you missed, and your limit on games that count towards the Leaderboard will increase. You can resign and buy into the League multiple times. Only your most recent run will count toward the leaderboard.

Each participating player will unlock the For Profit card back for immediate use:

Eternal Live Balance Update – 4/24/2024

Introduction

Introducing the latest balance patch for Eternal—and this one’s geared towards draft aficionados! In this week’s update, we are taking a broad approach and making light adjustments to a full 20 cards, aimed at creating a refreshed draft meta where every card counts and your strategic expertise reigns supreme!
Expedition Tweaks
Of course, we couldn’t leave Expedition hanging so here are two staples we’re adjusting:

 • Calm Instructor loses Charge, gains Quickdraw
 • Grove Supplier to 0/2 (was 1/2)

Expedition is in a healthy place overall right now, but we’re still seeing a few decks with higher win rates than we like. To address this, we’re implementing some changes targeting aggressive Fire-based decks intended to reduce their raw damage while adding some strategic depth.

Calm Instructor as a 2/1 Quickdraw in the deck generates a lot of opportunities for bluffing and increasing the utility of fast damage spells. Meanwhile, tweaking some of Grove Supplier’s strength prompts opposing players to make more nuanced decisions about whether to prioritize eliminating the Supplier or the units it enhances, rather than defaulting to targeting the Supplier every time.
Draft Buffs
The following adjustments are designed to inject some spice into the meta while also supporting specific factions and archetypes that may be lagging behind.

 • Sandspout Mirage to 3T (was 4T)
 • Steelwarren Tunneler gains Endurance
 • Lured Songbird costs 4 less if a relic went to your void this turn (was 3 less)
 • Rebellious Mistral to 5JJ (was 6JJ)
 • Infamous Huntress to 1/2 (was 1/1)
 • Hand of the Hecaton’s Summon is now, “You may sacrifice a unit to Hunt 3.” (was Hunt 2)
 • Vizier’s Tablet ’s ability gains, “After the fifth use, Vizier Tablet’s sacrifice and draw a card of your choice from their void.”
 • Warren Spymistress’s Bolster to +2 Strength (was +1 Strength).
 • Telia's Choice now gives +3/+3 (was +2/+2)
Influence Nerfs
The following cards are all having a single point of influence requirement added:

 • Hive Lantern to 2FF (was 2F)
 • Liquid Flame to 3FF (was 3F)
 • Beekeeper to 3TT (was 3T)
 • Druid of the Sands to 4TT (was 4T)
 • Charming Steelguard to 3JJ (was 3J)
 • Prepared Tracker to 3JJ (was 3J)
 • Changeestik to 2PP (was 2P)
 • Nocturnal Glider to 3PP (was 3P)
 • Extinguish to 3SS (was 3S)

We’re happy that multifaction decks have been such a hit in Battle Lines draft, but right now decks that run all the best cards across 4-5 factions are completely dominating more focused 2-3 faction archetypes. By increasing the influence requirements of some key commons and uncommons, we hope to create more impactful drafting decisions and increase deck diversity.

As always, we thank you for your continued support and can’t wait to see what you do!
