Catan Universe News

In this Update we want to focus on implementing some changes based on the feedback from our community:

- The matchmaking had been improved for Automatches and Auto-Tournaments
- The Karma filter for matchmaking will now be more strict
- If you get kicked from a game due to not finishing your turn a 3rd time, the prompt on the screen will now need you actually click on it before directing you to the main menu
- We changed the behavior of the AI in multiplayer games in regards to trading with multiple resources

Smaller fixes:

- Enchanted Island – Warlord card could be played always and result in a crash
- Sounds for Robber, Barbarians etc. now are aligned properly to the gameplay
- In very rare cases changing your pet avatar couldn´t be reverted
- Some UI adjustments for the tournament screens

Hi Catanians,

+++ Important: All leaderboards have been reset. In order to appear on the leaderboard again, an Automatch must be played in the respective expansion+++

New feature:

Elo is now given with 6 decimals. The "accurate Elo-value" can be seen via tool-tip
Color-code for the Elo-values: for normal Automatch (white) Tournament (purple) Season
(cyan)

- Fixed bug in stats screen at end of game
- Rivals dice stats were not always correct
- Multiplayer search in Rivals was not interrupted when singleplayer is started
- Counteroffer icon now consistent again
- Tournament year is now always correctly indicated
- Min Max Prestige Rank in tournaments now correctly adjustable
- Elo leaderboards now always have the correct color code
- [mobile] Filter Settings are now correctly displayed Tournament creation not
- [mobile] (iOS Only): Pixelated treasure badges now in high resolution again

Hi Catanians,

Patch 2.2.4 has been released on STEAM and the Browser. The iOS and Android will follow after they have been approved by the respective Stores. Version 2.2.3 and 2.2.4 are able to play with each other.

- Fixed sheep avatar in player profile
- Cards stolen by robbers are invisible again
- Moving the merchant to the same tile does not make him disappear anymore
- Fixed sounds when placing game pieces
- Added animations for treasure chest resource distribution
- Statistics screen now always has the correct own values
- Mobile only: "Hide Tradeboard" button no longer unresponsive
