A new KARDS update is live! With this update we see several bug fixes.

The update was published on October 14th.



[h2]Bug Fixes[/h2]

• 85 PIONEER was sometimes confused after being sent to hand and played again. Fixed.
  
• M8 Greyhound did not work correctly when removed from the battlefield. Fixed.
  
• RAID wasn't working correctly against the AI. Fixed.
  
• DIVE BOMBING's effect was showing on history on start of turn for units that were already destroyed. Fixed.
  
• FINAL PUSH and HONOR were destroying affected cards after they had been sent to hand. Fixed.
  
• RED OCTOBER was sometimes not changing the attack value of cards correctly. Fixed.
  
• ROOT OUT THE ENEMY was in some cases giving back extra attack and defense to cards that had been sent to hand before the effect was terminated. Fixed.
  
• MIG 3's effect wasn't triggering correctly when enemy's countermeasure triggered. Fixed.
  
• P-38 LIGHTNING's buff wasn't removed instantly after being removed from board by ISOLATION or SENDAI REGIMENT. Fixed.
  

[h2]Improvements[/h2]

• Revision of the Italian translation based on proofreading and detailed feedback from player Luca Carlesso. The 1939 Games team thanks him for his valuable input.
  
• The translation of various cards has been updated with the correct version.

Enjoy a new deck builder section on the KARDS website!

The new deck builder on the KARDS website allows you to find great decks to improve your own gameplay. You can also create and share your own decks with the community.

[h2]Browse and find great decks[/h2]

Browse decks created by the community and the developers on the KARDS deck builder website. Go through the list of decks and find great decks you would like to try yourself in-game.



You can search for specific decks, for example, decks that include a particular nation or have exact resource costs (you can specify a lower and upper limit). You can also look for decks that contain a specific card.

[h2]Import decks[/h2]

Each listed deck comes with an import code that allows you to copy & paste the selected deck right away into your KARDS client.



Simply select a deck and click the “GET IMPORT CODE” button there. Then, in the KARDS client, create a new deck - this gives you the option to make the deck from the import code. (Read more about importing decks).


[h2]Create decks and comment[/h2]

You can also create decks on your own and share them with the community (or keep them private to yourself). All you need to do is log in on the KARDS website, then you are good to go!



The login uses Steam or Google SSO, that’s it.

When you create a new deck and intend it to share with the community, we recommend that you include some of your thoughts behind this deck in the description: The fundamental strategy about this deck including critical cards, how to select cards during mulligan, some thoughts about the early-, mid-, and end-game.


Our deck builder will improve over time, as this is the first iteration and not the final version. Enjoy, and please use the comments below or let us know what you think on our KARDS Discord server.

It is with great pleasure and excitement that we present the freshly updated KARDS roadmap. The roadmap is a regularly updated, high-level overview of the milestones and important events for KARDS. Keep in mind that this is a living document and that the events further in the future will receive more info as time passes by.

Without further ado, let’s have a look at what we can expect in the coming months!



Let’s go briefly over each item; more details will follow with separate blogs closer to the actual release dates.

[h3]Two new languages: Italian and Spanish[/h3]
Great news from the multilingual KARDS front: Starting on October 1st, KARDS is available in two additional, often-requested languages Spanish and Italian.

[h3]Reconnect[/h3] The long-awaited reconnect feature! In case of losing connection to the KARDS server, you will now automatically reconnect (if possible); then you can continue the ongoing match.

[h2]November[/h2]
[h3]National Progression[/h3] A complete overhaul of the national progression and their long-term achievements. This allows you to better and faster reap the benefits from playing your favorite nations.

[h3]Mac client Release[/h3] Often requested and anticipated by many. The Mac version of KARDS will arrive in November!


[h2]December[/h2]
[h3]Winter expansion[/h3] This expansion is one of the two highlights this winter. Similar to our Allegiance expansion previous winter, expect to see new cards and game mechanics!

[h3]World Championship Qualifier and Finals[/h3] The second highlight this winter next to the expansion is the KARDS World Championship! Similar to the previous World Championship, we will have qualifiers and then the actual tournament with a grand final. The qualification period has already started, check out the details!

[h2]2021[/h2]
[h3]Mobile version[/h3]
Highly anticipated, the mobile version for Android and iOS devices allows you to connect and play anywhere you want. Of course, you keep all your cards and your collection when using the mobile client - you have the full multi-platform experience! Initially scheduled for Q2 2020, we have moved the release of the mobile version to early 2021 as we want to have more time to develop and deliver a true triple-AAA experience on your mobile device. We don’t want to compromise quality for a rushed delivery that doesn’t pay justice to your (and our) expectations. We are still committed and very excited about the mobile version!


The roadmap is painted in broad strokes and shows only the tip of what we have planned. There are many more small features and improvements which will come along the road.

As you can see, the final Quarter of 2020 is packed with KARDS excitement and good things to come!

A new KARDS update is live! With this small update we see a patch to URA! and some bug fixes.



The update was published on October 6th.


[h2]Balance updates[/h2]

• URA!
  Effect was changed to "This turn, your Soviet units get +3 attack and deal excess damage to the enemy HQ in combat." (Effect was: "This turn, friendly units get +2 attack and deal excess damage to the enemy HQ in combat.")
  

[h2]Bug Fixes[/h2]

• 35th RIFLES would sometimes get wrong Kredit cost after being sent to hand. Fixed.
  
• 85 PIONEER COMPANY wasn't reducing the Kredit cost of cards that were spawned by the enemy like RESISTANCE cards.
  
• Korean letters were not all visible in the client. Fixed.
  
• DIVE BOMBING visuals have been fixed.
  
• The artwork on six cards have been improve - can you find them?
  
• The translation of several cards has been improved and mistakes have been fixed.

Great news from the multilingual KARDS front: Starting on October 1st, KARDS is available in two additional, often-requested languages.

Spanish and Italian are now officially supported in KARDS.



This means that all cards, UI elements, messages, shop items, and history texts have been translated and are now available in Spanish and Italian.

To switch languages in KARDS, simply go to the settings menu and select your chosen language. It is that easy! You can, of course, always switch languages at any point.

Adding these two languages is part of our long-term commitment to KARDS, reducing language barriers, and increasing the accessibility of our World War II card game.
