This KARDS update delivers several bug fixes and improvements to the reconnect feature. The update was published on November 10th.

[h2]Bug Fixes[/h2]

• The German Reichbank ran into trouble and couldn't always issue the correct Kredits. This has been fixed, the Reichsbank is correctly issuing Kredits again.
  
• The War Machine broke down when you had more Kredits left than Kredits slots after being played. The inner workings of the machinery have been fixed, War Machine is fully functional again!
  

[h2]Reconnect field testing[/h2]
The field testing of the Reconnect feature is a great success. Reconnect is working very well so far - thank you for all your participation!

During the field testing, we have have discovered several rare cases that required additional work and improvements. We have fixed this issues and thus improved the Reconnect.

Great news for all KARDS players, newcomers and veterans alike! KARDS is currently receiving a technical boost with the first public test of the reconnect feature.



We gladly announce the first field test of this reconnect feature between 4th and 6th of November.
No further action is required on your end to participate; the test will be conducted automatically.

[h2]Background info[/h2]
The KARDS reconnect feature introduces an automatic, fast, and reliable reconnection to a currently active match if its connection was lost due to brief network or traffic issues. This will happen automatically and shouldn't cause any disruption of the game.

Before reconnect, a lost connection usually resulted in a match loss.

[h2]Next steps[/h2]
Reconnect is a complex technical feature. Therefore, we conduct this field test to gather telemetry under live conditions and test the reconnection feature.

For testing purposes we might be turning the feature on and off during the next few days while we gather some telemetry on how it is doing. Don't be alarmed if it is on and off in the coming few days.

After this field test, we will analyze the results. Once we are satisfied and all quality requirements are checked, we will go live with this feature!

Hello KARDS community!

We are excited to announce that this November will be absolutely packed with tournaments and action for players of all skill levels like we have never seen before!



Without further ado, let's dig in!

[h2]The World Championship[/h2]

The World Championship Swiss Weekends will be on the 7th-8th and 14th-15th of November with featured matches recorded during the weekend uploaded to Youtube during the week. So to make sure you don’t miss out on any of the action, we recommend you subscribe to our KARDS YouTube channel.

On the 21st and 22nd of November we will livestream as we go from 16 competitors down to 4 in a single elimination bracket before the grand finals broadcast on the 5th and 6th of December as the top 4 players in KARDS face off for their share of the $10.000 prize pool!

[h2]KARDS Open #3[/h2]
The World Championship isn’t the only tournament. We also want to make sure those with the competitive itch that aren’t qualified for the later stages of the World Championship have the chance to prove their worth. Therefore we are hosting another Kards Open tournament in collaboration with 983 Media that is open to everyone!

This time around there will be restrictions on how many elites and specials can be in each deck to make the tournament more approachable for newer players.

KARDS Open #3 will feature a $1000 prize pool as well as in game rewards for those that participate and advance to the later stages of the tournament.

KARDS Open #3 will take place in the later part of November, stay tuned for more information!

[h2]Officer Club Championship[/h2]
Now you might think that with all the tournaments going on in November we might skip the Officer Club Championship. Far from it! We are committed to maintaining this competitive staple for November as well, making sure the ladder grind has an exciting endpoint!

To accommodate all the other tournaments and broadcasts, this months’ OCC will be held on the 17th and 18th of November instead of one of the weekends. Apart from a slight change in the broadcast format to accommodate the new broadcast dates, players can expect things to work the same this OCC as it has in the past.

We are looking forward to the biggest competitive month of KARDS so far and hope to see you with us on the journey!
