Developer AMA ahead

Hello Kards community!

Now that the last Friday of the month is rapidly approaching again, it’s time to start collecting your questions for the next AMA session that will take place on the 31st of July at 16:00 UTC.

This time around both, Olikrummi, our host, and Gummi, our Creative Director, will be on summer vacation when the AMA is scheduled, but that won’t stop us from sitting down and spending some quality time with the community answering your questions. So wherever we might be in Iceland, we’ll be live on Twitch answering your questions on Friday the 31st of July.

You can submit your questions for the devs to answer during the AMA in the Steam comments or on the official AMA reddit thread here:

KARDS' Theaters of War expansion is pricey, but a great example of solo content for digital PVP card games

This summer has been a weirdly good time for abstract World War II card games. Early this month saw the release of the much-lauded deck builder Undaunted: North Africa as well as the announcement of the first expansion set for the series Undaunted: Reinforcements. The end of June also saw the release of Theaters of War, a set of single-player campaigns for KARDS - The WWII Card Game.

Players have a steadily increasing currency to play cards onto the three-rowed battlefield, fighting for control of the middle row (the "front line") in order to attack and ultimately destroy the opposing player's HQ.

Despite these superficial similarities to Hearthstone, KARDS stands on its own as a well-constructed, fast-paced, almost painfully addicting card game based around a simple premise.
